Infinite Warfare is the true definition of bad timing, it was actually a good game that released during a terrible time for the franchise WW2 could have been better, but it came out incomplete, lacking what made golden era CoDs so beloved, but still got support and turned out to be a fun game in my opinion Ghosts was too ambitious for its time, some ideas were great and others sounded good on paper but that's about it, it sucks really cus we will never get a sequel to complete the story, fix the issues and the current IW dev team being a shell of their former self Vanguard is a joke MWII had the chance to fix everything wrong about MW2019 and became a great game, but instead the devs had this awful attitude and acted like they know better even though everyone including their fans hated the things they are doing A game that should have been on the list : Black Ops 4 - is imo one if the worst CoD games, the most frustrating games I've ever played from the annoying specialists, overpowered P2W guns and operator mods, to some of the worst maps including DLCs, with the best ones being remastered versions of old beloved Black Ops maps. The only skill gap people keep talking about when mentioning BO4 is the ability to maintain your sanity while playing this mess of a multiplayer experience, it sucks too since I really liked the first 3 Black Ops and this was a disappointment

I might start a war but: Vanguard>MW22. Campaign goes to MW, same for 3rd mode VG zombie was too bad for competing with DMZ. But multyplayer goes to Vanguard, not because this is better but cause it’s less worse. And the Warzone era of VG had his problems but was very good with gameplay changes and innovation and I had fun with some cool guns, and we got Rebirth reload and Fortune’s Keep,. WZ2 era was terrible under all aspects, it was a downgrade. For me SHG did better than IW 2 times in a row.

TDawg, you did Ghost dirty with the extinction gameplay. You can build parts to create weapons like TRANZIT!!! (I believe there are 5 more maps that are great with boss fights) Let me list them: laser gun, alien guns [fire, electric, and posion] special grenades/pipe bombs, and cool coil traps. (How do you get them? There are boxes and trash hiden throughout the map that give unique parts and other stuff.) (There's even a cool theeth system for the grinders) Also, that game is meant for teamwork. If you're on your own, you're getting crushed. (Each class has a different purpose. With teamwork, they go together perfectly.) They even have cool bosses! Extinction is the next big that Cod needs. It didn't get the spotlight it deserves.

One of the things i don't like about IW is that the maps are not really made for the movement they put in the game, there was a lot of invisible walls and when you think you found a path to wall run it turns out to be a kill barrier. At least in my opinion.

I don't know how Cod Ghosts' matchmaking works. When I try to search for a match, I also get a match in seconds but I get thrown into high ping lobbies due to the game not being populated in my country. Feels like there is no matchmaking. its just takes you and throw you in a match, which if the game is populated in a country like USA, could be amazing.

The issue with the new cods is the movement system, especially MW3 remake. The issue is the devs copy and paste the original MW2 and MW3 maps etc into their new engine with the new movement system. The fundamental issue is those original maps were never created with the idea of the double sprint in mind, as it didn't exist. This now means people are running crazy fast in a small map like shipment which just makes the game not fun as those maps were never meant for that

It's still crazy how Ghosts and AW playerbases on Xbox are split between 2 versions, the 360 version which is backwards compatible, then the normal Xbox One versions. You would think by now Microsoft could merge and make them crossgen so when/if they ever do add the games to Game Pass.. There's very little differences between the 2 versions anyway other than some visual downgrades on AW. Also I think Ground War on Ghosts was exclusive to the Xbone/PS4 versions, weird.

Vanguard for me was one of the good ones. Really enjoyed it. Grind was long with weapon lvl and some wacky builds. Zombies was just terrible, but MP side was solid. Sounds and commentary pin point and pacing and big maps with plenty of people.

I really enjoyed MWII. If only they changed the awful perk system and gave us an option to hide ridiculous skins. Movement and recoil are weighty and punchy, the artstyle is gritty and beleivable. The gunsmith is unparalleled but the menu is confusing. It's the best cod game for a grounded and immersive experience. The game just needed a bit of tweaks to be perfect IMO, but they pulled the rug and put all their efforts on the absolute scam that is MWIII.

Cod Ghosts had good maps though. IW had the best campaign of all time. WW2 had the best zombies and the best innovative modes. Like the dogfight mode, war mode, zombies hard point. Plus Sledgehammer did supply drops the best. You literally got supply drops given to you just by playing a match. And the contracts in WW2 were amazing. Also I didn’t touch Fortnite until like last year.

It always bugs me when people say “CoD is a realistic tactical fps” like have you played CoD? Do you know the military? I remember getting Ghosts with my PS4 even though I didn't like BO2 or MW3 because I knew it was something I could sink a lot of hours into on my new launch day console. I was wrong, I played a lot of it and hated almost all of my time with it outside of the campaign. Finally had enough money to get a second game (had to buy a new car so I got stuck with Ghosts for a couple of months) and I went for BF4, that game was a broken mess at the time, but I still had more fun with it. Ghosts deserves the hate imo. Now I loved AW, felt okay about BO3', but when it was time for Infinite Warfare I was a little skittish about CoD. Betas were out for IW and Titanfall 2 and I ended up LOVING the TF2 beta so I went with that instead. I had some of the best mp times of my life in that game, so if feel like I definitely made the right choice. I wanna go back and play IW though, but that price tag. WWII I had just given up on CoD at that point. Same reason I never played MW19. my fiancée pulled me back in with CW and I fell in love again, that or BO1 is my favorite CoD. When Vanguard came out, I didn't hate it, I played a ton of it, but everything felt like a step down from CW so I was complaining along with everyone else. I think the mp is definitely over hated. MW2 I barely played, nothing about it clicked with me. Spent that year playing a variety of games instead. I'm currently enjoying MW3 though so my taste is a bit weird.

@@F1RST_BLUD1 this isn’t actually a bad take. Vanguard in my eyes is far worse than this game. I will say that mw2 is not a great game, and is pretty mid to below average. It only had two good seasons, the others were crap. Im pretty sure there were only a handful of good maps. Gameplay was slow. Campers and rats everywhere. But vanguard in my eyes was just a “nothing game.” Like Tdawg said, it had no Idea what it wanted to be, and became a clustered mess in just a few seasons through crazy cosmetics, and a lack of innovation. I can definitely see why people enjoyed vanguard over this, but in my eyes, it’s just slightly better.

MWII is just as bad as MW2019 for me. Both MWII and MW2019 have terrible maps, loud footsteps with no dead silence perk, terrible mini map, awful spawn system and they both somehow have the terrible co-op modes. The only thing that MW2019 had was the movement which was nice, but those other elements pull the game all the way down the list for me. Thank goodness that BO6 is going away from all of these god awful Infinity Ward design choices.

Cold War is still the best COD in recent years. Hate all you want, but it literally had the most content, round-based zombies, and whilst I preferred MW19 movement, I think it was refreshing to play a game without tac sprint etc... Biggest criticism with CW zombies was the lack of set crew and the map atmosphere just wasn't there, but BO6 already seems to ammend these issues for me. Very excited to see what Treyarch have come up with. I have mixed feelings about the return of salvage and armour, but that alone won't impact my feelings about zombies at all.

The one purchase i regret COD wise was MW2022 and the bundles i got for it. And i bought VANGUARD, mind you, but at least Vanguard TRIED something new with zombies, even if it missed entirely.

I have the same issue on AW on Playstation. I'm from Australia and the game is dead here anyway but surely the game would throw me into an American lobby right? Well apparently not, cause I have sat in an empty pre game for literally an hour and it doesn't put me into a game. Meanwhile youtubers play the game on console and get gams no issue. Like bruh.

MWII isn’t really a game I despise, but is probably my least favorite since I don’t have a mode on there that I really enjoyed that much
