The Combat system. If it's kept fast paced like dbzf where Ki gain is crazy i think we'd have something. Add in the just frame dodges at the cost of ki while updating the stock system and combo structure, T4 would be really dope.

My biggest thing I loved about Tenkaichi 3 was the fact you had the vast array of characters. You unlocked everyone through the campaign and even had giant characters like the great apes that were slow but fun. But I sadly don’t think they are going to keep this idea because of a few things. Everything has to be a DLC nowadays, why give you everything if they can just get more money for something they could’ve released already. Xenoverse was kinda decent with this seeing as how a lot of the new characters were released as the manga/anime were releasing the characters but even if you bought the season pass you still had to purchase characters. So now the $60 games is more like a $400 game. And that is just how modern day gaming is now and it kinda just sucks. I would like them to go back to that simplicity where you didn’t have to buy $300 worth of DLC just to play a $60 game.

Doesn't matter that they all played basically the same with different specials. I wanted them. King Vegeta was even there!

I honestly think bt4 is gonna have most of the dbz characters, only the favorite movie characters, have main characters from bog-top and leave side characters as dlc. It's wishful thinking to hope for modes like bt3 cuz (modern gaming does the bare minimum), so im seeing a story mode, a vs mode, an online mode, and a tournament mode. Hopefully im wrong and they go all out

I really hope they just put the same amount of effort they put in these previous games. There’s so much you can just leave behind and make this new game not as good that I honestly can’t see them doing well with their current track record. They’re gonna miss game modes, there’s gonna be bugs, there’s gonna be missing features, there’s gonna be milked DLC, there’s gonna be a smaller roster, there’s gonna be less fun combat… I will keep my faith, I will by the game and play it myself and rate it when I get it, but my expectations are low.

Due to Licensing Bullshit Beyond Any Comprehension™️ Which you may have heard of but the reasoning for which is to my knowledge nonexistent, DBS Manga characters can't appear in any of the games until they make an anime appearance. So no Moro, Gas, or Black Frieza or anything like that. Best we can hope for is Hirudegarn in a cell costume (AKA Cell Max)

Tenkaichi MUST have a giant bank of characters, MUST have more unique attacks than before, reuse animations just make it look different instead of having half the cast have the same one of two super attacks. MUST have more stages with unique layouts. And above all else, MUST have interesting what if scenarios

i, unfortunately, never got into tenkaichi because i wasn't a fan of the open fighting system it had. i preferred budokai 3 and whatnot because I enjoy 2D fighters more than anything. More recently, I played Xenoverse 2 and found it more fun than I realized! So I hope they have all the stuff everyone's excited about and don't end up making people pay out the ass for DLC for the game's content.
