We are entering a golden age of fe5 hacks. Forsetti's cut is getting consistent updates, New Theory of Thracia has been out and doing wacky shit for a while, SUPER THRACIA 2 is out (only in japanese tho). FE5 is my favorite game in the series and I'm always excited for new hacks of this game.

I loved many of the changes, the new palettes are pretty good, Hicks and Eda were really good as the colors fits them better than the ones from the vanilla versión, giving skills to selphina's scrub squad made me use kane as he now can use the brave lance and having wrath making him a very fun unit to use in outdoors, i went A route and noticed some changes like A and B route now give the same amount of skills manuals instead of B just giving you one, and Misha now have 3 movement stars (i always loved using misha and now that she can use swords mounted she gives that wind edge a pretty good use)

I think that a really cool mod would be would be for FE4, maybe adding some of the FE5 cast to the first/second half of FE4. I’d like to see more of what happens to them after FE5 that isn’t just the ending card.

I’m on chapter 5, and it is getting really really difficult, the enemy stats are around 3x what they are in vanilla, and my unit’s stats are mostly unchanged. Asbel can’t even 3 round KO anything at base which is making me regret giving him a life ring. I think they didn’t need to make the enemy stats so high in 4x and 5, as there are little to no openings to train the many weak units you have at that point. Thinking about just dropping it.

Something that I do like about Thracia is that most maps will have garbage enemies placed around. It lets me deploy filler units that I've not used in 6 chapters to let my good ones rest and it lets the filler units like Kain and Alva do a bit of work.

@@66Rokers Yes I completely agree, and training those units is fun to me. But I have no clue how I am supposed to train Asbel with even his base speed being lower than soldiers and enemy mages on his joining chapter.

@@elijah7744s that's bloody mental. 4x and 5 are already a bit tight, soldiers are meant to be garbage tier 0 units anyway, why are those lads so speedy? The only suggestion I could bring up is; did you bring the brave axe for Dalsin? That could maybe help.

@@66Rokers Yes I did, I also brought the flame sword but it disappeared somehow, maybe I sent it to storage or had it on someone else, or just got deleted out of Lifis’ inventory after chapter 3. A lot of the armored enemies use swords now, too, and that sucks really bad with no lance units to use.

@@elijah7744s if I remember correctly, if both lifis and Leif have completely full inventories there won't be enough chests for all the items. I don't know if the patch changes the amount of items in the chests but that's probably what happened.

So, I've been watching the entire LP of this game as it came out, (I'm about to watch the final episode after I finish typing this comment), and I'm getting really interested in playing it for myself. Though, I also have an honest question: Since I haven't actually played vanilla Thracia 776 (yet), would it be worth it to play Forseti's Cut right away, or should I come back after playing vanilla Thracia instead?

Comparing forseti’s cut to project ember is stupid. Forseti’s cut still has the classic fe5 spirit, meanwhile project ember is just bullshit that doesn’t fit in fe6.
