Cuisine Royale was so fun to play especially in 2020-21. I remember me and my party playing hard and learning all the goofy mechanics. We even made it to "diamond" rank. It's sad to see it fade

Oh yea 100% I've seen other KZbinrs also do a "dead games" video and when Cuisine/Crsed is featured nothing but good reviews come off it. Idk what made it fell off but what I was hearing from the community, it started to take itself too seriously and all the new character's broke the game. The one thing Cuisine Royale did very good, better than many other shooters, was map design Crossing an open field is not a death sentence, because you'll find little divots or holes to hide behind. Other games have not perfected it as good as Cuisine Royale's first map

Honestly cuisine was so incredibly unique when it launched, me and my friend would play it so much! Absolutely loved the goofyness of it, it was such a blast! Then they changed it all up and it became a shadow of its former self, although recently they re- released original cuisine and it’s been somewhat okay! Altho the lobbies are mostly bots due to not many people playing :(

Cuisine Royale was created as a joke. It wasn't really intended to still exist. But it kinda blew up during COVID and they completely revamped everything. It's a genuinely good game

15:40 Dive into the history, you'll like it. It started as an April fools joke that got accepted so well it was made permanent. First version had gun specific magazines, partial reloads etc and you really had to watch you ammo. It was a direct shot at pubg, having goofy powerups and kitchen appliances as armour to make fun of the genre. It did work incredible and the earlier versions were pretty balanced. The abilities got added later as a way to introduce microtransactions because the game was dying unfortunately.

I appreciate when content creators can review games that are more from indie devs/companies. Some might be terrible, and definitely needed more testing before release, but its good that you left information on WHY it is bad, so that the devs can learn from their mistakes and maybe make a better game for their next one. I feel for the devs that might have loved the game purchase only to lose it later due to refund, but can't really blame you either if the game was terrible. Didn't see the cost of the games, but if the terrible games were more $14+, I could understand more on the refund. If it was something like $0.99, then it might have been their first failed attempt at a fps game. Hope the dev takes the refund as a learning experience and uses your notes for a positive as well. I also appreciate that you are showing love to games that might not have a huge player base, and might just boost the player base up even more. I hope the devs sees this video and learns more from it.

The game was absolutely insane when it first dropped. Game was called Cuisine Royale and You used different grades of pots and pans and even waffle irons for armor and to extend your health and stamina you would find Blood IV bags and strap a hospital pole to your back and scuba tanks on your hip. 😂🤣

Cuisine royale is by far one of my all time favorite games . It's quirky but super fun with wild abilities and crazy movement . It's to bad more people don't play it and lobbies have a lot of bots . On console the sensitivity's are crazy at first but once you fine tune it , it's much better 😊
