I Played Through The Entire Game Just To Be Mayor in Turmoil: The Heat Is On

I was annoyed that it didn't work out for me last time. I decided to do it all over again, this time using what I learned last time to mine more oil than ever before. Using that money I could buy stock in the town and become the Mayor sooner than later. This works out great as I also find all the treasures along the way which help me find better ground in the new areas, plus the insane bonus island with more oil than I know what to do with. Yeah but this is what his 5th+ video and hes still making mistakes he could easily avoid with a 2 min internet search. DF is funny and fun to watch but it can be so painful watching him make really basic mistakes for hours worth of gameplay because he wasn't willing to try and learn what hes doing wrong until day 3 of filming lol.

I'll say this much: The gameplay seems fun but end game is pretty disappointing win or lose. At this point I think it would be better to play a sandbox endless mode where you spend your money on maybe characters, clothing, and I am unsure what else.

Also next time you don't need to convert the oil into gas, you're just wasting it. You can pump the oil, then expand the mostly empty space into gas, and letting it go with expand it even further.

You can branch more than one pipe off the same rig and each pipe will pull full volume. I usually do two or three. You can also drain oil pockets and then turn them into gas at any point before they turn grey (depleted). They will fill with gas at the same rate as if they were full.

DF, you’re probably not gonna see this, but I’m at least 70% sure that you can just run the gas straight into the oil-selling place with a pipe; you don’t actually need to run a pipe up to an oil rig to raise the prices.
