The story was intriguing... leaving us guessing at what the mystery was in those church documents. Another mystery was why the choice made by the secondary protagonist (Beatrice) at the end of the story. The story as it stands is complete. However, both mysteries not revealed could be potentially wrapped up in a part 2 if you choose to do so. If you do, I recommend putting a link in the description box of both installments so people can navigate smoothly if they so desire. The usual complaint is the pictures not matching the narrative. Also, it is unclear whether we are in the age of electricity and light bulbs or candles and oil lamps or not in the population at large. The light bulb, as we know it was created in 1879 by Thomas Eddison... and not because something exists doesn't mean it is available for use everywhere. As we also do not know what country this story is being told... it makes it quite difficult to figure out what, when, and how the mystery could impact others which might give a hint as to if this is the primary reason for Beatrice decision in the end, something else, or both.
