If Dean says it is wrong, their is no room for argument, wrong is wrong, forbidden is forbidden. Haram is haram, no one can challenge Allah's laws.

I disagree as a muslim with the part of not trying to find the truth behind allah’s decision for these behaviors as a muslim we are motivated by our prophet pbuh to seek knowledge and as imam ali said “dont inherent your religion but learn it”

When an atheist comes to you and asks why allah is against gays you shouldnt say oh well idk its up to allah, you should convince him about islam and have logic in your answers and than you.

Islam is a comprehensive and wonderful religion that addresses various aspects of our lives. It's crucial to instill early education about the permissible nature of physical relationships between men and women according to the teachings of Islam. This foundational understanding from a young age helps children differentiate between right and wrong. Moreover, it's imperative for children to associate with peers who exhibit positive behavior. As parents, we should ensure that our children befriend those whose conduct is exemplary and perhaps even better than our own children. This way, they are likely to be influenced positively and guided towards the right path.

The sooner we realise that the notion of an “innate sexual identity” is a post-modern social construction akin to the “golden calf” of the people of Nabi Musa (a.s), the sooner we can free ourselves of the shackles that it binds us in. The human brain is incredibly plastic. We just need to unlock the God-given potential we have that made us worthy of being bowed to by the angels instead of allowing ourselves to be lowered to a state that is worse than cattle.

If you're Muslim and you feel homosexual urges then you must necessarily understand that this is a test from Allah All Mighty and one must not pass over into this depravity and In'shaa'Allah Allah will grant that person peace and Allah knows best. Of course asking if it is fair or not is a bad question because if you're a believer then of course Allah is fair and just. The question isn't "is this fair" the question must be how could one overcome their test because clearly this is a test and not something a society should treat as a right. One does not have the right to engage in homosexuality if they are a believer.

whats the solution though. If someone genuinely is homosexual and is unable to overcome that but still is a practicing Muslim and doesnt commit that sin because he knows its haram, is he still going to hell? Does he still have to marry a woma regardless
@mrs8768

No of course they wouldnt go to hell. That restraint shows their taqwa, in fact Allah would reward them spectacularly.

I feel that it's even more tragic for someone who is attracted to the opposite gender to marry as if they weren't. How would you feel if you found out your spouse is only married and physically intimate with you to fulfill religious norms? 🤔

I'm sorry, but this is just not true. I know many people who knew about their identity from childhood itself, way before they were baligh. It itsnt the lack of brotherhood that causes this. this is just an innate thing that exists in some people. and no its not sexual devience. Devience can happle on either side of the asile. there needs to be proper discourse on how to navigate this unfair reality as a muslim so that we may ultimately please Allah, but not at the cost of our mental and physical well-being.

And thank you for being open-minded and discussing this topic as many in our communities struggle with this silently and are in a constant internal struggle with their Muslim identities vs their human identities.
@azayn2434
@azayn2434 5 ай бұрын
There can be many causes for it. Some people are wired that way from birth while others fall into it as a result of childhood abuse, illicit lifestyles, etc. I'm glad though our community is finally starting to have an open and frank discussion about this issue. It's a struggle for many and people rush to condemn them without any understanding or sympathy which only ends up alienating them from Islam.

So I do love that Ali Jaffery is courageous enough to do what he is doing BUT I do believe that he MAYBE bisexual or it could be that he didn’t have male figures and grew up around women. Or was bullied by other boys for “being different.” Or the combination of all the above. I suffer from gender dysphoria, so it is different but they also say the same thing it stems from abuse, lack of male figures, etc. which I do agree that it CAN confuse someone or make someone prone to becoming sexually deviant. It is a bit more complicated than homosexuality. But it doesn’t apply to everyone who suffers from GD.

Just a quick question here, why NOT at the cost of our mental and physical well-being? From what I've learnt about the Ahlul Bayt, they sacrificed it all.

I may be wrong, but I feel that a gay man has a soul of a woman, which is why the soul is attracted to the opposite, but in reality this cannot be seen as there is a metaphysical reasoning behind this which cannot be seen physically. Salaam.
@justasoul3148
@justasoul3148 5 ай бұрын
I don’t think the soul has a gender but I do have gender dysphoria which is considered a disorder/illness. Being male or female is a physical experience. So I do believe there is SOMETHING there that causes this immense deep feeling of being in the “wrong body”. The society told me I was gay and tried to live as that. but internally there was something else going on.
