4k/60 is the point of the pro5. PS5 is 4k/30fps as expected or 60fps with 1080-1440. PC has trouble hitting native 4k at 60fps or above. Native 4k was not the selling point of PS5 but the 60fps modes. Why did people think PS5 was a 4k/60fps machine for current generation games when only last gen games got patches to run like that. People didn't expect the 60fps to look so bad since they were used to 4k upscaled. Pro meets people's expectations of 4k upscaled visuals with the 60fps. PS4=1080/30. Pro4=upscaled 4K/30. PS5=1080/60 or native 4k/30. Pro5=Upscales 4k/60 or Native 4k with VRR 40fps+ on current gen games.

There’s gonna be a lot of disappointed people that purchase it. In order to see the real difference outside of frame rates (if your TV is capable of high frame rate) your gonna need a mid range and above..TV and most people have black Friday TVs. If your TV isn’t made by Samsung Sony or LG probably you shouldn’t buy the pro. One of the best ways to test us is put on Netflix and then put on a standard 1080p Blu-ray. If you can’t see a huge difference in the Blu-ray looking much better than Netflix then do not buy the pro. Your TV is not capable of displaying good quality.

The PS5 Pro's gpu (if rumored specs hold up) will be 10-15% more powerful than Xbox Series X. But, the CPU inside is still the same old, slow one that the PS5 uses. FYI - Xbox Series X's CPU is more powerful than both PS5 consoles. 🤷🏾‍♂️
