My home office also doubles as my "clean" workspace and our spare bedroom. I built one portion of my workbench on these brackets for hinging shelves. When i setup an inflatable bed for guests it gives more room and when folded down, the workbench acts like a headboard.

When you said you were moving your laser to the garage, I was about to freak out! Then I remember that you pay a lot more in rent to live in a place where the garage (and outside in general) don't get below freezing. Now I'm jealous of your new workshop space AND your garage.

I made a similar workbench setup with an old door that I trimmed in hardwood and some DIY sawhorses that looked a lot like those trestles. It looked cool, but I never did warm to the minimal storage of the trestles. I had planned to put a PC in one, but it would not fit and cable management would have been a PITA. I ended up replacing them with simple cabinets with toe kicks and had much more usable, out-of-the-way but accessible storage.

I saw the thumbnail, clicked on 'Watch Later' - bell rang in my mind 'Isn't that procrastinating personified?' It took me 10 years to get around to listening to an mp3 series on time management because I didn't have the time. Whne I listened to it i learnt nothing, I knew it all BUT! We know how to do things but very few people actually implement them. As Tim Robbins says "Don't plan it, schedule it!"

@borjesvensson86614 сағат бұрын
Btw. Gotta say that if you are not using a workbench for dirty jobs and specially if its going to be used for woodworking the best finish is probably no finish or maybe linseed oil (if you have time for it to harden and do not need friction) Without a finish you get maximum finish witch helps keep stuff in place and if it gets worn you can just plane it with a hand plane or sander For a bench mainly for storing stuff or doing messy work something like monocoat sounds real good. O and prepping reclaimed lumber is a chore indeed. And make the cutters in the planer sad😢

One suggestion i can give is to level the Audio throughout the video. As you change from camera mic to clip on mics and others, there is a huge level of change in the volume between them. While editing, please make the sound level even throughout the video expect for situations where xyla is deliberately whispering or something like that. I think you got the jist of my suggestion.

If you somehow can, I really recommend disabling AI-translated video titles. It's definetely not a setting youtube makes accessible to consumers, and the titles keep getting worse, containing strings of numbers and other weird stuff. I've seen it on multiple channels over the past weeks. The translations themselves are ofc also utterly wrong, most of the time beyond recognition even for people who understand both the original and the language chosen by youtube. And it's not like a "translated" title helps anyone when the actual video is in a foreign language. Might even repel viewers who can't make sense of the title
