I hope my simulations will educate the general public about potential earthquake related hazards and create more curiosity about Earth Science in general. I do also hope that my videos will inspire a future generation of amazing architects, engineers and scientists! We all need to peacefully work together to make this world a better place. :)

We had a small quake this morning. I'm in Santa Ana, and the epicenter was in Ontario. It was a magnitude 3.9, and it was like a MM II. For the last few of these mini-quakes we've been having lately, somehow I always manage to be on the toilet when they happen!

And your sims are better than Hollywoods. I really like the ones that show the fault rupture on the ground. I grew up in Berkeley, CA so I've seen first hand what faults do when they creep but a rupture would be interesting and terrifying to observe.

Sorry to miss that. I just subscribed and did not watch all the video yet. I watched a video of isolators in action during the second big earthquake on February 7th in Turkey. I was really impressed to see them in action in real life.
