I have a set of quickjacks, super handy, especially seeing I have a low car. If you have the space and money, I would recommend. Probably their biggest annoyance is they can be a bit of a faff to set up, and the hydraulic couplings can be hard to connect/disconnect if they're slippery.

With those weld on coilovers I always drill a few holes about halfway up in the new sleeve (so in your case 25mm from the bottom) about 10mm in diameter, then weld the ID of those holes to the original tube. That way your welds aren't purely planar.

According to my age I´m rather an E36 guy (turned 13 when that thing came out), but the E30 is still an icon with the perfectly proportioned front grill and headlight section. So much more balanced and aggressive without being vulgar compared to the kidney grill madness of today.

*As you've probably found out by now, a RHD E30 six branch manifold is a pretty rare thing nowadays. In truth, on an M20/2.5 engine they make bugger all difference anyway. Back in the day PPC magazine did a lot of testing/modifying around the M20 and they found no real benefits to fitting one. I had one on my race E30 325i and on Surrey Rolling Road we saw no difference and with all the usual intake/exhaust type mods saw an eventual 176bhp I think? It sounded glorious though. Just see my channel here for a taster. A lightened flywheel would be my personal suggestion as it make the M20 way more responsive. ITB's sound and look epic. As ever, loving the BMW content.*
