Finally, someone who can ride a Surron and not just pull wheelies on the street! I was recently in the hills with my YZ450, and the dirt was nice! We did lots of shoveling and packing. The lips should be nicely packed down with the rain coming in.

The new 2024 GLE 8000s are now pushing 1100 phase amps and can go up to 96 volts. Insane numbers !! Bac4000 is now pushing over 500 phase amps and higher voltages at 96v . More bang for the buck !! Great video !

Yeah he is an idiot indeed. Somehow, he put a supercharger on an electric motor , and it makes 40 000 hp , and they stripped the left-hand thread ! Ideal for showing people how not to dominate, at least he can ride better than most surron videos

you can use breaking and throttling to control your nose on jumps, i also feel like the eltric bikes are toys compared to a 2 stroke ..things your struggling on seem like things i remeber are done with ease on 2 strokes

My Surron also had a ticking sound. I don’t know if it was as bad as yours but you could definitely hear it. Took be forever to find it. It ended up being the primary chain was super wore out. It was missing some rollers. I put a new primary chain in it and that fixed it.

I just installed those today on mine. Still have the stock battery for now but the motor spun up to 70 without the primary chain attached. It was the worst process ever. Horrible

i wish some brand would make an e bike just like a sur ron or telaria but with a 2-4 speed gearbox, preferably 3 speed. that way you could get insane low end power and not destroy your motor, esc, and battery trying to hill climb while being able to basically do a backflip just by cracking the throttle, rather than barely making it up like a normal sur ron such as those do. if osme brand (not a chinese one) made a taleria or sur ron with that then id buy like 10 of them but as they stand these things just cannot compete with any gas bike and are worse for the environment

How do you supercharge an electric motor? I run a YZ250 2-stroke and am buying a Surron or Talaria soon. Gonna want more power judging from the surron I rode so not sure what to get yet. I know ICE engines, not electric

Basically, the power comes from the battery. The more amps a battery can deliver, the more power. A higher voltage battery will spin the motor faster and is more efficient. Once you have a battery, you will need a controller that can receive that current from the battery and deliver it to the motor. How much power is delivered is determined by the controller, while the max power available is determined by the battery. Then, you're going to need a new motor that is designed for that increase in power. The stock motor will work, but after the battery and controller upgrade the motor will now be your limiting factor. To really turn it up you need a bigger motor. Be aware, the battery + controller + motor can easily cost more than the new bike. Definitely worth it.

Considering how modern cars are so easily hacked I wouldn't really trust that Wi-Fi/Bluetooth function where you can put the motor in reverse. I mean, surely Im paranoid, but what if some bad actor runs around the city trying to fuck people up? I guess the motor is very niche so it's probably nothing to worry about. I just like stuff like that to be hardwired and not on networks of any kind.
