The inner tip is further in than the outer tip. I believe its supposed to go the other way with the outer tip being further in than the inner tip.

I think the right actually, my boy’s 22 wrx has is the way your talking about with the outer tip being more in. Which was a thought in my head when installing them, but I do personally prefer the look of the way I did it and it all clamped down the same. Let’s meet in the middle as I did it different from everyone!
