Coraline is one of those movies you watch as a kid and just never forget. Still my favorite Stop-Motion movie to this day, i would love to make a little me-doll, i've wanted one since i was a kid. I really love your take of a Coraline inspired Ghoul, i wonder how her relationship with the Beldam would be like. I imagine that after losing Coraline and the key to the real word, the Beldam would have dificulties to deal with her new situation, being completely alone and traped in the other word. And since Coraline is probably the first child to ever scape from her, Beldam would become obsesed with her, at the point of seen her as her "true daughter" or "the prey that got away". She then decides to give life to the doll she made of Coraline and renames her "Cordelia", kinda like a consolation price and as a way of finally having Coraline as her daughter.

I feel like she has a sort of spider skeleton? Thing? Inside of her doll body that lets her move. Like how the Beldam in the movie has hands made of needles. Maybe when she's mad her needles stick out like that one salamander that stabs things with its ribs

Oooooooohh, I feel like if she were in a monster high movie, she'd probably act as a background character until one of the main characters have to go to her to for some information on some things they're trying to solve thanks to either a classmate mentioning her or they already know that Cordelia always have secrets in them. Although, i can see a conflict of figuring out as to how to learn the secrets from Cordelia given that she's mute. Or maybe not at all and they just get her secrets without any conflict. Maybe by thanks to a companion of hers who'd translate to them by either Cordelia's body language or, for more representation, do sign language. Or just simply write it on the notebook

Monster high character ideas The Qu from all tomorrows (VERY SCARY CONTENT WARNINGS AND STUFF, DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE REWRITTEN TO FIT INTO THE MONSTER HIGH UNIVERSE PROBABLY-) AM from i have no mouth and must scream (SAME WITH QU, DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE REWRITTEN TO FIT IN TOO, DON'T READ THE BOOK OR MAKE A CHARACTER BASED ON THEM IF YOUR VERY SENSITIVE TO GRAPHIC CONTENT- SAME WITH QU- perfect to make a robot boy character with a pet slime but heavily needs to be rewritten to fit into the universe and santized) Jean jacket (alien from nope, make em a horsegirl PLEASEEE) Xenomorphs from the movie Aliens Pennywise (spider shapeshifter clown, pet is a turtle because in the books Pennywise is a eldrich horror who is actually a spider and they have a sibling who is a turtle) La llornna's kids (they are ghosts ofc and have both mom and dad issues! Plus pet is fish) Mothman (pet is owl because people had a theory the mothman was a owl and not a actual monster) Flatwoods monster (pet is also a owl, her and mothman like to hang out cuz their pets are friends with each other or something idk a idea) Idk genuinely cryptids in general Fae (the folklore fairies- the not so nice ones.. kid could a changling their fairy mom swapped out with a human baby and changling kid just discovers they aren't human and goes to monster high feeling like a outcast, maybe rivals with Thea thing because both of them shapshift and feel like they don't belong? Maybe Changling gets wind of Thea thing trying to replace her in her friend group and does a uno reverse on Thea because she can shapshift too?) Krampus Suspiria! ( 80s Horror movie about ballet school that is sercretly run by a evil coven of witches, possibly the character is a witch but is a theater kid and loves ballet) Thats all i got.. :C
