MJ dominated his era and would do the same now. Great players adjust their skills to the rules and style of play. Moreover, his mental toughness was unmatched. Even Kobe who played with some of today's players was way above them as far as mental toughness. MJ had huge hands so the palming that is allowed now would probably benefit his game as well as the lack of physicality.

yo Danny2k love your videos,, sometimes you go thru them a little too quick, yet i understand. IMHHO the best one was the 2-hr masterClass,, especially love the recent ones where you put every MVP, Wilt & MJ in the modern NBA.... so i have an idea for a new video. There are 15 MVP's between 1980 & 2005,, go back to the '23 NBA draft (Wemby's class) and add the 15 MVP's as rookies in Wemby's draft from 25 years '80-'05 = Kareem, DocJ, Moses, Bird, Magic, MJ, Barkley, Hakeem, D-Rob, Mailman, Shaq, AI-answer, Duncan, KG & Nash. 1) all the lottery teams get a future MVP. 2) all the cuurent playoff teams get a Top15 player from the '23 draft 3) where does Wemby get drafted amongst the best from a 25 yr period 4) these legends are all BALLERS and will debunk the myth that the greats can't play in the current game 5) who rises to the top? 6) who/how do the current greats stack up Curry, Giannis, Embid, Joker, Luka? 7) will Luka keep winning every MVP 8) which of the 15 MVP's make the most all-NBA squads 9) does Wemby dominate the DPOY's with Duncan, Hakeem, Kareem, Shaq, MJ, KG in the mix at the same ages? 10) who dominates the Finals MVP run over these awesome 15 years?!? can't w8toCit
@HudsonsDad138 ай бұрын
I just looked at the list again... GOTTA get Kobe in there,, add 3 more years = + Dirk & Kobe = all Legends prior to LeBron's MVP run of 4 outta 5,,, 11) where does Kobe get dratfed as an 18 yr old in this mix? 12) which playoff team needs a PG and gets Nash 13) how do Paolo & Keegan Murray, etc stack-up as 2nd year players 14) which playoff teams get the rising stars like Brandon Miller, Scoot Henderson & the Thompson Twins?!? ya gotta make this happen,,, gonna be sick

Footwork - Hakeem, [MJ], Kobe Quickest first step - AI, [MJ] Elevation - Zion, [MJ], Nate Offense (bag of skills) - [MJ], Kobe, Tmac, Carmelo Defense (not blocks only) - Hakeem, [MJ], Scottie, Kawhi Explosiveness - Drose, [MJ], Westbrook Jumper - [MJ], Kobe, Houston Fundamentals - MJ, Kobe, Timmy Crazy Competitive - [MJ], Kobe Strongest at 2 position - [MJ] no comes close (Artest and Kobe said) MJ is not just ahead of his time, even nowadays, he is above all. whatever era, he is still the G.O.A.T. That is what professional legends says in the likes of TMac, AI, Wade, Larry, Magic, Shaq, etc. Because they are the one who knows the game and good at it. Not us regular people. @Danny2K Right? When are these people going to learn.....2K sims are utter garbage and bear zero resemblance to reality. What's more, the developers are massive LeBron stans so they made him invincible while making prime MJ look like 40yo Vince Carter. If you simmed his actual career, getting drafted in 84 with exactly the same team, same teammates throughout, same opponents...literally everything exactly how it was in reality, 2K would have him win zero championships, average 22ppg, win zero MVPs and maybe a few DPOY just so their LeBron homerism isn't THAT obvious. If you did the same with LeBron they would have him win 15 championships, 8 MVPs, 10 DPOY and score 60k points. 2K are the biggest homers on the planet and they should be embarrassed.
