@@sirtifiedbucket Depends on the era. Played in the ‘90s, I think the Bulls defence would have been too stifling. Played in the 2010s, with the more open style of play and focus on 3-pointers, then yeah, the Warriors might come out on top but I doubt they’d sweep that Bulls team. They were mighty.

Twenty years later, the ‘96 Bulls smashed that record with 72 games won and just 10 lost to chalk up a 0.878 winning percentage. Both teams only lost *three* games during the entirety of the playoffs and Finals actually going so far as to win their respective brackets and the Finals series in exactly the same way. It’s just uncanny when you think about it, but even as a Celtics fan myself and a huge fan of Larry Bird (my personal GOAT), I’ve got to give the edge to that legendary Bulls squad.

I remember this team called the Lakers back in the 80s that played in 8 of 10 Finals for that decade winning 5. And, beating champions. Losing to and winning against the Celtics, Pistons and 76ers. And yes the core, Magic and Kareem was there the entire time!

Let's be honest here. Every team in the East fought multiple wars on the way to the finals while LA fought a bunch of chumps. Every team LA played in the finals had a much tougher time getting to the finals and were beatup by the time they met the Showtime Lakers. No disrespect for LA, All time Great Team, but let's not act like they weren't well rested in the Finals. If the Celtics were in the West they'd have won More Championships imo. Just my opinion but I think it's pretty fair. The East was a beast. The west was less. If LA was in the east they likely don't win 5.

In 96 the Warriors wouldn't be able to switch on every possession due to illegal defense rules and hand-checking allowed, and they wouldn't be taking 35+ threes a game, they wouldn't stand much chance against the Bulls with 90's-era rules. In the modern era yeah I don't know how anyone beats that Warriors team.

@@trucc412 Wrong. Bulls have the best player (by far). Bulls have the perfect trio of perimiter defenders to lock up Durant/Curry/Klay. Bulls have the size and rebounding advantage with Longley and Rodman. Bulls have Ron Harper who was just averaging 20 points per game with the Cavs and went to the Bulls to take a lesser role. Bulls have Kukoc off the bench who is perfectly built for the new NBA era. Bulls win 4-2 in the modern era and 4-0 in the 90s. This 96 Bulls team went 87-13. They ain't losing 4 out of 7 to anybody. The 2017 Warriors were getting whooped by Kawhi's Spurs in game 1 until he got injured.

Pippen and Jordan are their only chance, but they simply don’t have the firepower nor the experience to outscore nor guard the greatest team ever assembled. Warriors have 3 4 hall of fame level players. 5 all stars, not to mention their athletic bench. You’re tripping if you think Jordan’s bulls have a chance 😂
