This resonates so well. It's wreaking my finances and I am not a heavy drinker but none the less. Even a "couple" is expensive and it's not worth the loss of finances, time, energy and health. Also you see the same bar people doing the same over and over. Sitting at the bar. These are my reasons. I agree with you 💯

Getting sober tomorrow. No matter what. After a 10 months binge. Thats enought... almost lost my job this week cause when i drink, i get suicidal. Enought is Enought. Have some ativant for the 3rd day. If i die, i die, thats simple like that.

Thank you Leon! I'm on that journey finally I guess. After many years (I don't even remember) of purring that fucking poison into my body and after many failed attempts (non of those lasted longer than 2-3 days though) to get rid of this shit I just said enough after seeing my liver medical tests results - it is slightly out of range but not critical I guess and I hope to get back to full health in few months. I think I'm just HFA of some sort - it is hard to describe but I just liked to drink without any urge to do that and I don't need much. Anyway fuck that shit, fuck this poison. I just went 100% off this narcotic in just one day and I don't even think about anything else now rather to stay sober - it just feels good, but I still need to counter the stress levels which raised like 3 times, but anyway.. To interested people -> stop thinking just do it - stop drinking completely. Your health, well being, family, your dreams, plans, etc. is not worth it. Two of the people I knew already died because of this poison and many struggle. You will do better than from now on. Just think about the new life and new opportunities - it is not worth going backwards.

Leon... i just want a normal life. One without alcool. I am.l looking to get in therapy. Alone... not sure i can acheve this Cause there are alot of thing wrong with my life... Will talk to my boss tomorrow about it. 3 weeks... Drank like 18 beers friday, 15 saturday and 14 today... thats enought. That or next time, i will be over... thats the bottom of the barrel for me...

Just found out I have liver cancer and is a result of drinking, I now wish I dealt with my divorce better, QUIT NOW so you don’t end up with months left like me…Bless all from this horrible disease
