Alcohol was an escape for most of us at that age, especially country kids. Then there was D.A.R.E.... Some of that helped, it was a good try. But parents definitely didn't help, it's like they forgot how they acted at that age. I'm glad you're doing ok now, and your stiry is much appreciated! ❤🍄

Drugs weren't really an issue fortunately as they weren't really available locally. Most of us weren't interested in them anyway (aside for the few that wanted steroids). Booze on the other hand, almost every parent's fridge had a surplus, or a liquor cabinet, or the college was one town over. I don't think it's gotten better over the years either based off what I've witnessed. Thanks for watching! 🍄💚

Great info, these are some good reminders, part of increasing your mental clarity and boosting your drive, comes with quitting. Yes, there are many ways to quit, Steffon Barkload's Quit Drinking Forever is what worked for me, best shortcut I go’ogled that took days to make me dislike the juice 100%
