hey babes , it's been a while but as usual i'm bringing some good content and a little life update . It's been a. he rice month for me but i'm sharing some news , i'm not longer in esthetician school & i am now a tattoo artist / microblading PMU Artist . yes... i am all over this new life and business i'm excited about it im happy and i hope
you enjoy this new journey. PMU Artistry is still a form of the beauty industry so i will get heavily into these videos . I'll also be doing a series here soon on nursing videos so stay tuned 💕💕💕

hey girl i’m currently in cosmetology school and it’s nothing like i thought it would be. i’ve been looking into permanent makeup and i know i have to get licensed at the health department and all of that, but how do i find someone to certify me? i’ve seen a ton of online certifications, are those valid? and i don’t know where to say i work like you said you have to for the license because i’m yet to find someone to certify me in person. i’m from ky so some things may be different, i may not need a place of work, but any tips you have on how to get started would be greatly appreciated 💓💓

it honestly just depends on your area but i would say you get what you pay for when finding someone to certify you . the professionals that cost the most are usually the ones who will teach you and then certify you at the end . the lady i went to is in orlando florida

Do you have to go to esthetician school to do hair laser removal? I live in Georgia and I think I cannot work independently as a nurse practitioner. Where did you look to find the rules for your state?

you have to go to your state website for Nurse Practitioners or call the state and ask them . i'm an actually NP student so i have to stay up to date with current changes and policies surrounding my practice . you have to do a little research . and the laser hair removal you also should ask because esthetics is also different depending on states . some states make your license only void in that one state and can limit the services you provide . in florida you have to do a separate class for laser hair removal .

Hey ! I have a answer to your question if you haven’t found it already because I live in the state of GA and I’m in school to become an esthetician. As a NP, you do not have to go to school to become a perform laser hair removal, however, you do have to take a certified/licensed course to do so. A lot of additional services in esthetics for the state of GA are not “governed” just yet by the state board of cosmetology, such as for example the hydrapen, or henna for eyebrow tinting vs tattoo but still stay up to date with the policies and procedures. there are no tattoo schools in florida. to legally do PMU in florida you just need tattoo lic. its a 3 hr blood pathogens course and county fee. got mine for $120. its great! no school!

no, i went to get certified by someone who has the authority to do so in the state of florida. she trained us and certified us through department of health .
