I really appreciate that. And it resonates with me too because I often wondered if I was too late to the game in order to be successful enough to go full time. What I found is that hard work and consistency does pay off even if it takes longer now that we passed the Covid bump. My advice would be stick with it and as long as you love it it doesn’t matter how long it takes.

Hey Caleb, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your content and the way you shoot your videos. The personal, down-to-earth style feels more authentic and less like a movie production, and I think you do a great job of connecting with people. Recently, I bought my wife a Bronco, and she was eager to take it out for a weekend trip. We ended up doing a few passes in Colorado and camped at 11,000 feet. It was surprisingly cold for July, but it reminded me of how much I miss overlanding and exploring. I used to go almost every weekend when I lived in Montana. Right now, I have a Ford Excursion that I love taking out, and I also own a '96 Bronco that was meant for everything-until it got stolen and wrecked. It's still around, but it’s sitting in sad shape on the side of my house. On another note, I recently ventured into starting my own company (unrelated to overlanding), and my hope is that in the next few years-once my wife graduates from med school-I can get back to overlanding as much as possible. I’ve got big plans for my future rig! It would be awesome to team up and go on an excursion with you one day, if you're not too big of a channel by then! 😉 Keep up the great work!

Thank you for this. I too started to get into overlanding and have now been learning video editing and tapping into my creative side as I have so much footage that I have recorded on my trips that I want to share. Storytelling I definitely have to work on as well. And audio. I would love to pick your brain sometime since you have a lot of knowledge that translates to creating content if you don’t mind. My background comes from being mechanical mostly and figuring out problems to make devices work. In my spare time, I am now combing through videos and just practicing on davinci resolve with somethings as I learn. My goal is to be like where you are at and be able to work and collaborate and help grow with and alongside like something you have going. I’m so finally happy that I found a community that are so like minded and just generally good people that I need to be able to basically live in this niche and be apart of something great.

I have always wanted to do something that I would be able to put my creative mind into something real. I have always done something to some capacity to let my creative do something to make it real from modifying my vehicles and producing videos. I was just starting to get into it many years ago then life just happened. Life happened for a long time.....for awhile I was just typing stay above water and not drown and my hobbies and my creative urges were just put away and life priorities became #1. I am just getting back into things I love doing and it has sparked my passion again. I have been out of it for awhile so it's like I am learning things all over again....but I absolutely love it.
