Hearing the story behind the shred spot and how you wake up early in the morning to shoot videos before continuing with your normal routine is truly inspiring. Your dedication and passion are on another level. Congratulations on all that you’re doing now!!!

Thanks so much! There was a quote that I repeated to myself on the way to the warehouse in the morning: "People overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in five." Just like the practice makes progress mantra that I always share, it's all those little steps forward that get us where we want to go.

I discovered super rider when I saw your short from the comps at 2022 Bentonville. It was so cool seeing a pov and analysis from something I witnessed personally. Since then Super Rider and your work with Shin Dig have provided me with such a sense of connection to this sport. Your knowledge of trials history as well as interviews with notable riders has made this lonely sport feel like a community I belong to. There are a lot of subject matter experts but your gift seems to be your focus on making developing riders feel welcome and encouraged. I feel like trials is experiencing a new surge in popularity and you are a major spoke in that wheel. Thanks for all the hard work so far and congrats on the 100k! Hey! I am a 17 year old kid who one day wants to reach this goal but I feel it’s not realistic because it’s not a “real job” what tips do you have to kinda of grow a channel when starting out? Another reason I want to reach this goal is because I’d so much rather do something I love to do everyday, rather than work a 9-5.
@SuperRiderTV

My best tip is to start now and stay consistent, don't let anything get in the way of your vision. It takes a long time to get rolling, but eventually you'll start to build momentum. Put in the time now, learn as much as you can, and even if running a channel doesn't work out immediately, the stuff you learn while you're doing it will help you out in a lot of other ways. It's worth it!

Wow. You managed to hit 100k while still working FT? That alone is impressive. Good luck from a fellow Marin rider -- still too nervous to endo my Alpin Trail E2, though. Ha!

We did it! It was definitely a rollercoaster, but the consistency paid off over time. Just like riding - practice made progress. Good luck with the endos, they'll come along before you know it!

WOW! Quite an inspiring story Aaron. SuperRider has inspired so many of us to drop our complacency with riding "good enough" and get our butts out there practicing the skills you share. I just hit 60, so I don't think I'll try and start my career jumping onto 60" platforms, but maybe you'll be able to. Keep up the stoke and look forward to expanding your audience and channel.

I appreciate your videos and bike knowledge, but after listening to your story, I had to subscribe. Just turned 45 and got back into MTB after 18yrs from riding my last one. The videos are really insightful, I should've subscribed earlier🫢 Wish you all the best and looking forward to seeing the channel grow even bigger.🤙🏻

Aaaron, you have the passion for bikes that can play and bike handling. It runs deep for many of us. That passion is what brought me to frame design/build back in the 80's. Suspension wasn't a thing at the time I began gluing 4130 and titanium tubes together and slamming wheels between em. I delved into suspension in 1985. While you close one chapter (Shred Spot) and open another, with a global scope, things are happening!! You were able to ditch corporate. Good stuff, mate!

@@SuperRiderTV What's the worse that can happen? I think that you were very aware of what you had to work with here. Sad to see the Spot go away, however, that chapter is behind you. Now for the far better video experience. Cause bikes get cabin fever like we do! Meanwhile, I'll keep viewing your channel.

It's quite a shame that you don't make videos on trials bikes anymore. I am very sorry. But I understand that classic mountain bikes are incomparably more popular. Good luck!

You are living many rider's dream, so it is already working. If you worry about future financial situation, you would also worry about it with your previous job, so nothing have changed. I have been watching your videos for a few years. I like your skill demos, but I would also recommand you adding more culture and history content about this sport, so your channel can resist the ever increasing pressure from new riders with better skills.

Thanks so much for this, I've been thinking a lot about going beyond tutorial based content for a while. Definitely working towards more concepts like the ones you mentioned...let's hope everyone else is on board, too! Thanks again!

I’d encourage everyone to follow their dream. My only advice for work reliant upon fitness is that every ten years, work out what you can still do in ten years time to stay in the running & relevant. Aging can’t be escaped but by using some care you won’t get old. Adapt your product gradually, tailor it to fellow riders of a similar age(?) and you’ll be fine 👍👍 BEST OF LUCK from Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Great call! The fitness thing is so important, I started incorporating weight training a few years back for exactly that reason. Apparently as we get older, that gets even more important to stay ahead of the curve. Here we go!
