It's a bit nerve wracking sharing my story with such detail in this longer video. Though, my hope is to inspire you to stand tall and walk your path in life. I once heard "By you telling your story, you give a voice to those who can't articulate their own story". That's why I do these videos. I'm eternally grateful for this platform. What resonates with you from this video? Would love to hear in these comments.💛

Very moving to hear about your story telling background of how you got to where you are today. Totally can relate in being a tall Asian girl as I am a 5’8” Cantonese chic who loved doing cartwheels, splits, and flips growing up!! Wow?! The black dress at the end is the winner-winner as you look super cute and chic!! I did watch to the end as you’ve captivated my interest the entire video as there are many relatable areas and love how you reiterate ‘purpose’ and ‘passion’ in order to take risks and embark on the journey that defines you!!

Thanks for the thoughtful comment, Melissa! I truly appreciate it. Nice to meet another fellow tall asian girl. I previously wrote a blog about it on Medium (feel free to google it. it's titled "11 things to know about being a tall asian girl"). Anyway, your comment made my day. Cheering for you on your journey. Take care.

I love your information, how you express yourself and humor! Now that you are in Hawaii, study the Hawaiian culture. For instance: back in the days of the Monarchy, the Hawaiians were the very literate speaking multiple languages. There was a great spiritual (Christian) awakening. When a Hawaiian boy went to an Ivy League College and cried on the steps because he accepted Christ and wanted to bring Christ to the Hawaiians. Queen Lilliokalani became a Christian and founded Kamehameha School, she had the forethought that the Hawaiian culture would be lost. She went up to the volcano and renounced the god Pele. To teach there you need to be a Christian. The lap steel guitar (in country music) was invented in Hawaii and brought to the mainland when Hawaiian cowboys (Paniolos trained by the Portuguese) went to the mainland, (and kicked butt at a Rodeo). Look into Duke Kahanamoku a regular Hawaiian who won as an Olympic swimmer and brought surfing to the world. Sorry so long, you’ll see there is more to Hawaii than meets the eye. Yes, I watch all of your videos to the end!

I hate shopping too, gottah force myself to go. I agree with your fashion choices, I like the cute black dress and don’t like the bla dress. You have swimmers shoulders, so appropriate for Hawaii! Wait till you start paddling canoes. Ancient Hawaiians routinely soak in the ocean as a cleansing of the mind and body. You don’t get that from swimming pools.

Someone's "purpose" is to just get max enjoyment out of life. Pretty easy to check out to indulge a mid life "passion" (making videos) after making 6 figures for 10, 15, 20 years. 50k subs doesn't pay the bills. ;)
