My favourite youtuber is back with yet another excellent video.. Imao when you explained the hierarchy with the office reference and it seemed pretty accurate ...Also I read somewhere that MBBs recruit creme de la creme of top universities like yourself much before regular placement season or other before other companies start hiring, so all these mediocore and not so genius students would become prod mans , gen mans and sometimes cxo s only to depend on MBBs for the rest of their lives to solve the problems. Can't say it's wrong ;)

Great video! Good luck, Taylor! Btw. I remember that Warren Buffett, during his lecture in Florida in 90s, said they never hired any consulting firm. When they was buying See's Candies, their idea of consulting (with Charlie Munger) was to buy a box of candies and eat it. That was it. lol ... I don't mean to offend anyone in consulting by this example. It just came to my mind. It's nice joke. The same joke was that company's song was "What a Friend We Have in Jesus", because they sell a lot during Christmas and made tons of money. lol

do you think you are productive for 14 hours a day? im not talking about taking breaks, but don't you think that someone who is working 14 hours a day is probably being inefficient during that time? or alternatively it shows that the company is exploiting employees and unwilling to hire the proper amount of staff needed to get the work done so that people aren't working 14 hour days? i don't mean this in an aggressive way, just this is what i think of when i hear someone mention an office job requiring 14 hour days.
@TaylorBell3 жыл бұрын
Definitely not! I should've been more clear in the video about this, but I by no means am working during all 14 of those hours. A lot of the time is spent iterating on things-- meaning I'll send in my work and then have quite a bit of free time as I wait to get comments back on how I should change it (if at all). Plus, almost everything naturally take longer over zoom than it would in person. It's so much easier to learn new things in-person as you can just look over someone's shoulder to learn, while ofc you can't do that during wfh. So I write/film/edit my videos when I have time in between tasks and calls 😊 But will def keep everyone updated on what the hours are like when I'm back in-person!
