The fact is that all free to play competitive games cause bouts of aggression. And it's not just Clash Royal. Look at CS, Dota, PUBG and many others. It's such a kind of trap. They're fun to play at first, but they're like quicksand dragging you in, turning you into toxic trash. The only way out is to delete them once and for all, but if you have already played for many hours, then it will be extremely difficult to do this.

The thing that sucks is I really do like clash royale, but the combination of the people that play it and the blatant pay to win features make it unbearable once you reach a certain point, and it never gets better, it's just a constant downward slope the further you go. I completely agree with what you've said, and I also quit the top ladder today. This game is terrible; it became so addicting over the past year since the start of 2023. I climbed from 4000 to 9000 and even made it into the top 10k last season. However, throughout the year, I didn't find any joy or sense of success. Every matchup just filled me with anxiety. It felt like my life was hopeless, and every loss was like a slap in the face. The only relief from winning was the temporary calming of my emotions, followed by the hope for another win. Throughout the year, I must have deleted the game at least 200 times, only to download it again. On one occasion, I deleted and re-downloaded it three times in a single day. The game was so addicting that it consumed my life, monopolizing my thoughts every day. I remember taking a break from the game for a month, two months ago-it was the most comfortable time I've ever had. But then I downloaded it again, and my life turned miserable once more. I've decided I will never play this wretched game again. Winning and spending money didn't bring me joy; they only made the addiction worse. Then came the losses, which made my life feel empty and meaningless.

Hi Crusher, I will do the math for you. So right now fireball has roughly a 20 percent usage rate. So 0.2x0.2= 0.04 or 2/10x2/10=4/100. Just so you know Im not speaking nonsense. So playing against golem would mean 0.05x0.05x0.05=0.000125. So you have a 0.000125 percent change of playing against a golem play 3x in a row. (1 in 8000). But you played against the same deck. Currently on Royale API Golem EDrag Nado Pump has a 0.8 percent usage rate and you played against that same deck 3x in a row. So we do 0.008 to represent 0.8 percent. So 0.008x0.008x0.008=5.12e-7 = 5.12 x 10-7 = 0.000000512 percent. This would equal 512/10,000,000 then you would divide by 128 which is the highest number you can divide to get a whole number which gets you 4/78,125. You cant go any further down as a fraction but divide 78,125 by 4 will get you 19,531.25 and then you round this down to 19,531. So every 19,531 games you would match up 3 Golem EDrag Nado Pump decks in a row if clash Royale didn't rig anything. So 1 in 19,531 games you would play 3 of these decks in a row. It is a 1/12,000 chance you hit a double bullseye in darts blindfolded. It's a 1/20,000 chance where you are born with an exposed brain. Where you are born with no top part of your hair so people can see your brain. Don't search it up (Its revolting). Anyway please like so Crusher sees as this took me a long time. The more games you play, the chances of you facing a golem player three times in a row does definitely decrease, it isn't about the non replacement thing you're saying at all. Let's say he only plays 3 games in total. The chances of him facing 3 golem players would be 0.0125%. Now let’s say he plays 4 games in total. The chances of him facing 3 golem players in a row would be (0.0125 x 2) = 0.025%. It’s multiplied by 2 because there are now 2 cases where this is possible, case 1 being that he faces 3 golem users in a row and then a non golem user, and case 2 being that he faces the non golem user first before facing 3 golem users in a row after. Now let’s say he plays 10 games in total, the chances as I said before would be 0.1% because there are now 8 cases where this is possible: Case 1: 3 golem users, 7 non golem Case 2: 1 non golem, 3 golem, 6 non golem Case 3: 2 non golem, 3 golem, 5 non golem etc etc So the more games crusher plays in one sitting, the chances of him having faced 3 golem users in a row does definitely increase.

I was in your shoes a while ago too brother. I would tilt my way all the way to 9k trophy and Ultimate Champion. I would go on a tilt streak just because I couldn’t end on a net loss. This affected my social life. This affected my education. Instead of studying for my university exams I’ve just been grinding this stupid gam. Pushing ladder felt like a chore, it felt like a moral obligation where the losses hurt more than winning. I took myself and the game too seriously. It felt like a job. It felt like “I HAVE to do it” to prove something. The more I play the more angrier I got, the angrier I get I worse I play, and the worse I play the angrier I got. It was an endless cycle of rage where I would be angry at the matchup and the BM during the game and would be mad at myself for wasting 5 hours of the day after. I have never been as mentally unstable as this my entire life. I fixed it all when I deleted the game. I made one last promise to hit Ultimate Champion that season and when I did I screenshotted it, sent it to a friend that I reached it again, told myself I’m good enough and don’t have anything to prove (to myself) and deleted that game. I still come back here and there but I’ve removed the attachment to the game where I no longer feel bad for missing a war day, or a daily quest. It felt liberating. “Liberating” is honestly the perfect word to explain how I felt since I’m no longer chained to fake obligations of playing this game that I made up myself (since I was missing a meaningful purpose at the time if I’m being honest). I hope you can overcome this problem. It really does hurt your mentality after a while. At least for you, you have the purpose of making content. TLDR This happened to me before. The way I quit was me making one last PoL ladder push to UC and subsequently quitting after. The reason for my suffering was because I took winning and losing in the game too seriously which made me toxic and rageful. I played the game out of “obligation” and continued out of tilt. Also I forgot to mention Crusher, or whoever that’s reading up to here. One way that I’ve learnt to fix my mentality from all those cycles of tilt and rage is meditation. Just focusing on your breath and clearing every thought calms everything and gets you to understand that everything you’ve done during Clash Royale, all your progress, wins, and losses ultimately doesn’t matter because at the end of the day, it’s just a game. Props, I had the same issue raging on my computer and it took like 2 weeks to actually quit for a while. I also quit Clash Royale too though, ever since MWII was exposed for giving players who spent money an advantage I have no doubt other companies like Supercell are doing the same thing. I did the math btw and the chances of playing Golem like that are 0.0125% (1 in 8000)

If you want your odds as a fraction take your 1 in 20 to the power of 3 and you get 1/8000 like I said. Not really sure why you chose to fight this battle but for argument's sake sure I guess the odds could be skewed either way depending on a number of outside factors but even if I'm generous with that the chances are still easily below a tenth of a percent

@@PinkSpaceDinosaur no, based on the available data 1/8000 is totally wrong At 0:54 crusher says that he has spent half of his day grinding meaning he has played far far more than just 3 games, if he had only played 3 games in that one sitting it would indeed be 1/8000 ignoring any external factors however he has played more games than that, and the more games you play the higher chance there is of you facing 3 golem users in a row Let's say he only plays 3 games in total. The chances of him facing 3 golem players would be 0.0125%. Now let’s say he plays 4 games in total. The chances of him facing 3 golem players in a row would be (0.0125 x 2) = 0.025%. It’s multiplied by 2 because there are now 2 cases where this is possible, case 1 being that he faces 3 golem users in a row and then a non golem user, and case 2 being that he faces the non golem user first before facing 3 golem users in a row after. Now let’s say he plays 10 games in total, the chances as I said before would be 0.1% because there are now 8 cases where this is possible: Case 1: 3 golem users, 7 non golem Case 2: 1 non golem, 3 golem, 6 non golem Case 3: 2 non golem, 3 golem, 5 non golem etc etc So the more games crusher plays in one sitting, the chances of him having faced 3 golem users in a row does definitely increase.

I'm guessing he played about 50 games, where the chance would be 0.6% ignoring any external factors such as the number of golem players online. So the real chance of him having faced against 3 golem users in a row that day are easily above a tenth of a percent and most certainly far above the original 1/8000.

I was the same way with league of legends. Started when the game first came out, played every single day all day for like 8 years, broke so many laptops from raging, all of it. It wasn't even the same game I used to love by the end. One day I decided to uninstall and never touch the game again, and I stuck with it, and it was one of the best things I've ever done. It was the only game that made me rage so bad, and now when I play games, I can get frustrated of course, but nowhere near like how I was with league. I have not broken anything since the day I quit playing.

How did your exam go? I hope it went better and you're able to focus more on other things that are important to you. Im a F2P player and i grinded this game to arena 14 , now they have added little prince in the shop with mega knight and everyone in this arena is buying it and there it literally no point of going on a grinding mission as everyone has level 12+ cards. Also it literally says ''Unlock at arena...'' and people are just p2wing their way through to getting champion cards in arena 12.
