Great new. Be smart wait to take SS until you are 66 and 10 months so you get the full amount you deserve. You must have a pension . That's always good . Yes, 55 is the age to collect your 401 K without penalty just know you have to pay taxes on that money. People forget that part. Good Luck!!

Tim I know what it's like to work hard and never take time off and work over kids and husbands I'll tell you what my best decision was when I decided to retire was around 55 it was the best day of my life driving away from my job as a correctional officer yes I'm a female I was completely wore out needed time to recuperate but it was the best decision of my life I've been able to do time with my kids and my grandkids and I love it I am in my 60s I have been working since I was about 11 years old I babysat work the farm with my mom I did all kinds of stuff and my first job was at the age of 14 I was emancipated by the age of 15 and been on my own ever since got married divorced and remarried 35 years I was with my ex-husband when I quit and wasn't making that good money anymore I wasn't the woman for him but that's my story enjoy yourself and with your kids and your grandkids KZbin will take care of yourself and and even your family keep doing what you're doing you're awesome

They usually take the taxes off the top if you want which is better than trying to pay them by the end of the year. U don't miss money you didn't have..
