I think it’s important to note that Jackson has members like Mark who was born&raised in the USA that he trained with. Both came to sk not knowing Korean& would practice together constantly. That’s probably where he picked up a lot of vocab& slang. You hear that print also rub off on the other members.

I think the education standard might actually be tougher in public school but his mom saw his personality was too free spirited and I’m guessing he would be in detention all day in public school lol. There was an episode with Nic where he admitted he got in trouble for kissing a girl in the middle of class and Nic looked shocked.

Jackson Wang attended American International School Hong Kong - a standard collective of international schools; i went to Karachi American School. This puts him in a rare niche called the 3rd Culture Kids. Born in 1 culture. Raised in another. Working somewhere in the world. Born & raised HK chinese with Shanghai roots (grandparents?) Was moved to AIS Hong Kong by 3rd grade. Moved to Korea & learned 4th or 5th language. It is what most 3rd culture kids pick up easily having to adapt & take part of the current environment. 👍😊 keep following Jackson Wang!

He speaks brilliant. Thing I don’t agree is the pronunciation of the surname, “Wang” should be pronounced exactly like the Chinese word “王”, not “Wane”. Similarly, “Chan” should be pronounced like “成”, not “Chain”. Cheers.
