Welcome to NC. *Carowinds is a good theme park on NC/SC border. They have a water park, too. *Billy Graham Library is nice in Charlotte. They close at 5pm. They are open in the evenings for the holidays and have a live animal nativity and horse carriage rides in December. *Biltmore Estate is pretty in Asheville. They have a winery. *Cherokee has the casino and a lot of native American stuff. Nice to visit. *Outer Banks is beautiful. Wild horses on one of the beaches there. The Wright Brothers museum is out there, and you can climb Hatteras. *Myrtle Beach is nice. Lots of stuff to do there. Kind of commercial now. (Better to go in the office season) Don't speed through any of the towns on the way there, not even a mile over. They are built on tourists. *Asheboro has a zoo. *Riverbanks zoo in Columbia, SC is bigger. *Lake Lure is a pretty place to visit. The have small beach. Some shops and restaurants. Climb chimney rock. *Gem mining at Hiddenite. *Blue ridge parkway is a nice drive. Nice trails. * Zootastic and Tiger world are nice animal reserves. *Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are great vacation spots in TN. *Renaissance Festival fixing to start in Concord for the fall. *Have lots of fun! *PS the Charlotteans here don't drive in the snow. When they mention the "s" word on the weather, make sure you stock up on milk and bread.😂 (That might just be Charlotte)

Boston can be really cold in winter- can be as cold as minus 14 degrees C ( not sure what it is in Fahrenheit) DC can be quite rough in certain areas ( like all big cities) if you can afford it, Georgetown in DC is amazing (if a bit touristy)

You are missing an ear pro for lil Mike, and eye pros for all the kids. Be sure to wear eye pros; they are important. I've got an incident shooting my friend's bolt action with some gun-show ammo he bought. I think it was either double-charged or with the wrong powder. Long story short, I'm really glad I had some ANSI eye pro. I got my first Doe last year and took a 120- 140-yard shot (I wasn't too sure because it was 10 minutes after sunset). It was also a lucky shot. I was aiming for the heart and ended up breaking the spine. Because it's so dim, and I cannot judge distance well in my digital day/night scope, I thought it was just a small deer at about 70-80 yards. I never considered putting tenderloin into a hotpot. How does it taste?
