Shout out to Ashley for rediscovering her “driving angry” when she reminded herself: “More gas, less brake!” You go girl! 😉

Thank you so much for the kind words about my channel! It was an amazing weekend of autocross. I love seeing what these cars are capable of, and I really enjoy going up against very fast drivers. It was great watching you throw your awesome car around on course, seeing Ashley find chunks of time on her runs, and getting to witness your epic battle with CAM-T 150 on Sunday. I'm glad everyone watching this video (and your other videos) gets to see how much fun it is to autocross these Mustangs! Thanks again for all of your help instructing novices. One small correction: My 2000 GT doesn't have coilovers. I'm still trying to prove these cars can be fun & fast autocross cars without coilovers. I'm looking forward to seeing you both at the October events for more friendly competition!

Ah man! I was so close to getting the specs right, my mistake. I really enjoy watching and learning from your channel. It truly is a great resource for autocrossing all cars not just Mustangs.

@@RinerAutomotive That's okay; we were talking about all 4 of my cars at the event (the green one will have coilovers). It's great to have multiple channels sharing tech and driving tips for people autocrossing (especially Mustangs). You've built a next-level car & your videos are helping and inspiring a lot of people. I've watched your Sunday run a few times to see where I left time out on course!

I have not seen your content yet @warhorseracing . Are you on stock springs or aftermarket ones? Looking to stay away from coilovers myslelf due to expense and was looking at H&R SuperSport springs. Thoughts?

@@cwyckisslick9444 I have a few different autocross Mustangs (the 2000 GT in this video, a 2004 V6 & a 1992 GT). On my IRS-swapped 2000 GT, I use Ford Performance C springs up front and Eibach 99/01 Cobra rear springs. On my IRS-swapped 2004 V6, I use Steeda Sport Springs up front and Eibach 99/01 Cobra rear springs. On my SRA 1992 GT, I use Ford Performance C springs (with Steeda spring spacers up front). All of the cars have poly spring isolators front and rear. I don't like to lower my cars more than 1" (going too low makes them handle worse). I haven't used H&R springs, so I can't comment on their quality or performance. I'm a huge fan of the Ford Performance C springs. They were on my 2000 GT before the IRS swap, and I still use them on my 1992 GT. I've done well over 500 autocross events with those springs (along with adjustable shocks & struts), and I've been very impressed with their performance. What year is your car? What mods have you already made? If you have any more questions, please ask; I'm always happy to help.

Got to love it, mostly Stock, bolt on, small tire winning CamT on day 2. Way to Philip.

Yep did good. Define small tire? I thought the mustang was on 275. I'm only on 285.
@simaverick19722 ай бұрын
@RinerAutomotive just 265s on a 9" wheel and they are the slow old Falkens. High mileage stock 302, basic Maximum motorsports koni coilover kit.

I bought a 89 toyota dwelly flatbed and I wanna swap out the 3.0 and install a 22r, I know they are a few different kinds of the 22, what is your recommendation for this swap, Im not looking for power, its a work truck. Ty- Mark.
@RinerAutomotive2 ай бұрын
I prefer fuel injection so I would go 22re for a bolt in solution. Extremely reliable but out of date. Another option would be a new Toyota 4 cylinder but that's more work.

130 is a good amount of people to race against but I race against 200+ in my region which is normal. If you are ever in Ohio, come to NWOR for a Toledo Airport race. Great surface and well taken care of.
