Screw Lance, that guy faked everything. He used donated money to sue people and made their lives miserable. Has he apologised and compensated the Andreu's? As bad as the Liver King scam was, he didn't screw peoples lives like Lance Liestrong.

Lance is a competitive animal. Regardless of the doping, he was (is) an incredible athlete. Everyone he beat was doping, too, so it says a lot about his condition and mental capabilities.

Lance had an excusive contract with the mastermind of doping. All the riders wanted to work with Dr Ferrari, but Lance paid him for exclusive treatment. He also had the protection of the sports governing body. He had the power to get rivals tested positive or warned about taking products that he could take with impunity. The idea that it was a level playing field is massively wide of the mark.

Or maybe he was just the best at cheating ... BTW, having followed LA from the end of the 90s as a triathlete, his recent ITW bring a different light to his approach to doping At first, he said he started doping after the use of EPO became generalized in the mid 90s The, in another ITW, he said he started doping around 91 Bottom line is , he most likely started cheating when he started competing as a junior in triathlon

@@blackflamesolutions526 Agree. Certain naivety to think that they were all doping at the same level, Lance had the money and the protection to take it to a whole other level. But the UCI made that bed and ruthless competitors like Lance simply exploited it. A mental beast? No doubt!

Peter Attia asked Lance in an interview if he could still do 350 watts as his steady state (1hr) cycling pace, Lance said it was unlikely... during the peak of his career he averaged 495w (one of the highest ever recorded) for 36m up Alpe d'Huez... That should give a relative idea of how much faster he was at 30ish

Being worl champion, fighting cancer, winning 7 times the Tour de France - the hardest bicycle race in the world. Doping yes, but this you only do if you are physically and mentally killer. Lance always wants to be good - usually he wants to win. He trained and learnt a lot motivation- and perfoming-wise. His body is one of the strongest on the planet - and the one of his revial and friend Jan Ullrich is tough too. Lance is at 52 in great shape.

Huge Lance fan. While the drug stuff certainly tainted his legacy somewhat in my view….but the enjoyment I got out of cheering for him and USPS during his heyday at the Tour de France was special. He and I are also same age..so love seeing someone 52 still kicking ass. And he had more in the tank if he cleaned up his rowing technique….that was really sloppy, probably cost him 5-10 seconds of pace just with the early arm pull and shortened stroke. But that’s super nitpicky. The dude is and always will be a monster in my eyes.

I like lance armstrongs body as a goal more than crossfitters, bodybuilders, or the words strongest man. He's a giant to me. The amount of work he can do is insane. And his body will work in extreme heat. Lets say that you're an explorer in the wooden boat days. those are the guys that you want on your boat. The amount of work they can do in a day is insane. and they eat fat so that super efficient for food storage. That dude doesn't need a car. He would also beat you with pulling a load on his bike. The abominable snowman iceland people can't handle heat. Body builders can't handle heat. Working in heat is the worst feeling. Looking at peak arnold thinking about if I had to work looks like a fur coat in the sauna. Then if you had to eat eight meaty meals a day on top of that. Armstrong can run on ice cream.
