Nice meeting you guys yesterday while we were in line waiting for our time slips. I missed your Pontiac racing down the track. I was able to get in 2 runs in my Luv truck before I lost my alternator belt going through the traps. Like you mentioned before, it was a real honor racing at Pomona. Hope we have a chance to race there again in the future.

I remember back in the 70's when I was a kid the Starship ride was called the Gravitron and it had a tarp top and I remember i was just 7 years old and the rotation pushed me up to the top sticking my head through the tarped and i was thinking it was going to cut my head off 😢

Ya need more converter but especially drag racing with a tighter converter. As long as engine is quick response from a dead idle it's quicker to flash converter launch from idle or near idle at launch so it hits rpm momentum on the hit

The point is to drive what the car gives you,and Gold Digger drove his 55 just a bit too hard, blown head gasket, getting that extra 1/16th of a second can get expensive, if the ol mama is 13 seconds, she's 13 seconds, anyway, have fun at the ol race track.
