I honestly think a super underrated part of Amethyst's mods for Odyssey is that she's got the writing style of the NPCs down perfectly. I could very easily see the stuff she writes for the NPCs being actual Odyssey dialogue and it makes these challenges that little bit more special

If anyone likes those puzzles I have a couple recommendations: Braingle website (this website has been around forever, I remember going on here as a kid), Murdle website (like Wordle but a mini murder mystery, also they published a book but I haven't tried it), and if you want a physical puzzle book I like the Montague Island Mysteries series! The books are great for long commutes

I paused as soon as Hint Art 14 came up and did the logic grid myself. It was really fun. I liked the little nods to Hide and Seek, especially the reference to the evil moon round. I think the main critique I have is that CJ's "Right at the bottom half" hint has iffy wording. The right at the beginning could mean he's in both the right and bottom half, or just bottom half. He is in the right half but I wasn't sure the puzzle wanted to tell me that with the clue. It wasn't required to solve, I didn't assume he was and still finished, but when designing a puzzle like this try to make what information you're conveying with hints as clear as possible.

Thanks for taking the time to try my puzzle. The "Right at the bottom half" part was only meant to mean 'bottom half' but I needed it to begin with R so I could spell "Find Crafty Boss" and I couldn't think of a better phrasing that wasn't even more distracting and, since it wasn't untrue, I decided to leave it. I even had a friend try it to prove it was solvable before submitting. This was my first time creating a puzzle like this

36:32 THAT'S MINE!!! The moon submissions opened up about a week after I first started drawing, and I just wanted to try to incorporate my favorite Pokemon into a moon idea. The idea behind it was that the name of the Pokemon was the hint (it was a moon in the *air* above a *dragon* ), but I wasn't very confident that it'd be recognizable as a dragonair, hence why I wrote its dex number. I also wasn't sure how to do the whole "getting the moon" part, I just had an idea for where I wanted the moon. In hindsight, I could've done something a little less tedious like simply having the frog in the arena or doing something entirely different, but man I'm just still amazed my idea made it, especially when compared to all the other amazing ideas people had (like, seriously, how do you people come up with this stuff?!?!) Were I to submit something similar now, I'd have either written dragonair's name out (much better hint than confusing them with the dex number) or would've tried to incorporate the dex number somewhere. Either way, I probably wouldn't make it anywhere near as tedious as it was in this form, but hindsight is 20/20. Thank you so much Fir for this opportunity to practice drawing and thank you Amethyst (or whoever went through the submissions) for choosing my simple and admittedly fairly boring idea amongst all these insanely creative people! I have continued to draw since this submission, and seeing it was a reminder of just how much I've improved in the few months I've been drawing.

28:28 Story time: If you didn't know, the main use of elementary school is for people to learn how think quickly and learn the basics that they then learn more about which eventually leads to kids getting excited over specific subjects which then ends up with them hopefully having a dream job when they hit middle school. My second grade teacher had us do TONS OF THESE and the reward for being the first one to finish was 10 bucks now we had teams so it was a bit easier but I got hitched and started searching up these types of puzzles to do these alone. For the dragonair hint art they shouldve put a game (ex. Pokemon black) where it talks about it and includes the name of a kingdom, like where it says in dragonair's black pokedex entry it mentions lakes
