@@Saloman4ik Nope. Adding extra armor to the any tanks is useless. You'll have more production cost (and you complaint about mech 2's production lol) and AI never produce high-pierced infantry divisions and good tanks. You just can't say "oH Yu cOpING" lol learn the game.

I do find it funny that with how much Bitt3rsteel emphasizes that the AI doesn't really do armor much and that stacking soft attack is good enough for fighting the AI, he still wants a tank that goes balanced in soft and hard attack. I think a Soft Dick Destroyer 3000 is preferable against AI, even AI Germany despite the fact that Germany is the one country that's supposed to produce the most tanks (god bless HOI4's beautiful, broken AI).

After doing a bit of digging in my own head and wiki checking the numbers again, for the tank desing i would say 3 man turret is the only change, it gives so much for so little, otherwise its perfectly fine. For the doctrine debate, i have to throw my hat into the ring of right side being better for everything but you always having green air, which of course in this case would not happen most of the time. left really only gives 5% more soft attack to tanks, compared to right sides much better buffs to pretty much everything.

I 100% understand puppets making a rage quit. I remember a couple of patches ago (Before Trial of Allegiance I believe but after the Scandinavian one) I did a South America Brazilian run as I tend to do sometimes for fun. Puppetted pretty much all of South America (I think I just hadn't done Columbia) and was getting ready to join WW2 somewhat late as the Allies were struggling. Suddenly I get an event where Italy asks if I want to be a puppet. I say no. But all my puppets got that event as well apparently and said yes. So by doing 1 focus Italy claimed all of South America (outside of Brazil and the Allied Colonies) as its own puppets. Stuff like that has made me swear off using Puppets lately myself. There's so many insane backstab things and events that they get to do that you have no say over (including a frustrating one for me, faction allies calling my Puppets into wars that I was trying to keep them out of). One thing I've noticed from other Disaster Saves Bittersteel has done is he had a very "All or Nothing" mindset about air power. Where either you have complete dominance, or you might as well not bother and just stick increasing better AA in things to cope with it. Came up a few times I've seen. I also kind of disagree with it. I've noticed that even having relatively token resistance has a dramatic impact, particularly because losses over your own territory as never as bad as it is for an enemy even when they outnumber you. So having like 500 planes fighting against 3000 can still be worth it in my book. But that's also just me. Contesting it (even if still red) I've just seen having better results than not contesting at all. Yeah, I never was a fan of the Medium Cannon or the heavier AT based guns. The AI just doesn't seem to produce tanks in numbers enough for me to care about it. And what tanks they usually produce are low armor enough that I never had issues cleaving through it with my support and all. Just kind of a weird thing. Maybe if Germany really did go in for things like massive amounts of heavy tanks or something it'd make more sense. But I suppose it's a matter of taste on it. Bittersteel seems to value Armor and Breakthrough mostly on tanks. Personally I favor speed and soft attack so I'm more in your camp barring the few times I do silly things like create super heavy infantry support tanks just for fun. Because sometimes I just do things for sheer stupid amusement like Super Heavy Tanks integrated into Infantry Companies just for the mental images.
