10 miles of running in that kinda heat would kill most people. One time I WALKED 14 miles when it was 97° F without any water and my throat genuinely got damaged to the point that it hurt me badly to drink any water for 2 days.

When I first started running again in September is was over 90 at night here in Arizona. I did a mile and a half at max effort and couldn’t barely swallow the next day it hurt so bad..

Aye Tyler I'm terrible at running but you really did inspire me to push myself with walking from one of your videos and I keep up to 10-15 miles a day which has literally saved me from high blood pressure that was hurting me bad so thanks for the motivation you give g.

10 miles with that heat and finished 70th, where everyone else was far fresher than you is really good. That heat is absolutely brutal, the fact you didn't stop is a win in my book.

I also migrated from the north to Texas. I personally know 2 people who have had heat strokes and I think I came close once. It really is a different kind of heat here, particularly closer to the gulf where humidity levels are insane and don’t allow your sweat to evaporate at all. Be careful!

I peed blood after running in that kinda heat once. I only ran 5 miles too. Eventually I acclimated to running in the heat, albeit at a much, much slower pace than what I'd have liked.
