I love cheetah with close weapons - was my "top mech" with shotguns for quite a while, although not bottom 5 of course. Juggernaut with stasis is fun, as is arachnos; even managed to complete the puma/longarm achievement recently too. Great vid and very entertaining :D More please...haha

Yeah, the game in general was more balanced 2 years ago. Discs were worse as the blue blood weapon, but bad mechs were way better than they are now. This is part of what made the grade update my least favorite update, it made bad mechs terrible, and there were things that you would want to use but couldn’t have fun with because they were so terrible.

Any mech only loses value because the company deliberately obsoletes them. One must max out the new weapons, mechs and implants to stay on top. Mech abilities have gotten ridiculous. They do not even scale by mech type. A shield mod on a Scout should max out at 1/4 that of a tank. Scout power should be limited to 16. Scout (16), Support (20), Attacker (24) and Tank (32). All tanks should have 3 weapon slots, shields and a power (type limited-no jumping or movement for example). Damage fields and healing would be good. Shields on Tanks should regenerate. Scouts should harass and do small amounts of damage. Support should have enough firepower to augment an Attacker to take on a Tank. Tanks should be feared and never one shotted. A single Scout or Support mech should never be able to take on an undamaged Tank. I just do not get what Mech Arena is doing. It makes no sense. If they want to keep this up, they will need to allow us to customize the mech’s power. A teleporting Ares with full mods would be spicy!
