We've bought three second-hand cars since 2016. Our first was a Terrano, which we sold after four years due to financial difficulties during the COVID-19 crisis. @@vishalkale7201 It's a great car, no doubt about that! my friend has the SX variant with Manual diesel engine and has enough torque and great pickup with decent highway performance. In terms of mileage, you can expect around 12-13 km/l in city traffic and 18-22 km/l on the highway. It's a comfortable car, as we did a Pune-Tirupati-Kolhapur-Tirupati trip, which was approximately 4000 km. The one regret he had was buying it new, as it has depreciated a lot. He paid around ₹15.2 lakhs on-road which was an 12.5 lakh car ex-showroom , and now he can get a one used with around 20-30K km for around ₹11-11.5 lakhs, which we found online and through an offline reseller.

11:26 I got a 2012 Toyota Etios Liva (single owner, 63K km) for ₹2.1L, and my friend (who works at Toyota) gave it a full check-green flag ✅. Did some minor upgrades: 1. Repainted 4 doors (too many scratches) 2. Installed an LCD screen (supports CarPlay & Android Auto), 11:50 as mentioned the car at first had bad looks but LCD screen changed the whole appearance of the interior 3. Garware tint, spoiler, and seat covers 3. General servicing All in, including upgrades, insurance & RC transfer, costed me around ₹2.8L-absolute VFM 🔥 Tbh, no car today in this segment can match the Etios Liva for room space, safety (4-star rating), engine. Zero regrets-love this purchase!

In 2023I bought 2016 Xcent Petrol top model at 4.10lacs from Gurgaon. It looks an expensive deal but I thoroughly searched the market and couldn't find any convincing deal. After I bought it, I had to invest additional to get new set of tyres, brake pads and a new clutch plate. Apart from this everything else was in good condition. Engine is untouched. Also the car is non accidental so apart from the minor expenses apart from the cost I am pretty satisfied with the purchase.

I drive a Tata Safari Storme and our family has owned it for the past 12 years. We have had 0 issues over these years and we love it a lot. I had a hyundai grand I 10 asta diesel 2016 model car in which I was travelling with my family and was met with a massive accident in which the car had gone rolling down the road side. Thank god . Surprisingly not a single MS car! First gen swift, SX4, Kizashi, Jimmy are still market magnets. They offer excellent petrol and diesel powertrain and some cases CNG also available. Sometimes feel like the influencers are not being paid by MS as many times on this channel it's cars are not discussed, appreciated. Rather negative publicity of unsafe cars is discussed but remember some legendary cars are made by Maruti.

Common buyers want reliable, running cars on the road not sitting in the service station watching their car repair using laptops/readers, point is that MS cars are unsafe but offer good reliable engine. Indian roads are not safe for even 5* cars. Seeing the MS YoY sales number clearly indicates that.

Yeah , I have the elite model 2016 and it gives around 12-13 in city traffic while in Highways it goes beyond 17 sometimes. It all depends on maintenance and your driving.
