I am here to write an essay on Ichika as her #1 fan and enjoyer okay so Ichika was pretty lonely as a kid after Saki went to the hospital and her friendship group drifted apart. She was the only one in l/n who visited Saki whenever she was in the hospital and even bought her flowers Her loneliness in her childhood made her determined not to lose her friends again and she put sm of her determination into getting the group back together. She used to struggle with finding self confidence and thought the best abt everyone but herself. youre totally valid also i think i won't rank mafuyu so low but i still dont understand why shes acting so weird sometimes like in area convos shes acting normally in her lines (when you go to live) shes acting normally in most of the events she acts normally i even understand her and can relate (for example, portray yourself event) but when shes acting like she did in secret distance event i CANT stand her she really acted toxic and weird with this phrases such as "im not interested in anything but kanade you must find an inspiration to compose the song" or "are you sure that this song can save anyone?" knowing damn well that this is kanades trauma.

@@xxxcfgggv this is very late but honestly i agree with you. i do believe it's a deliberate choice by the writers however, because depressed people often get desperate and make unrealistic demands (?) at least that's what i've seen from personal experience. It could also be Mafuyu copying her mother's mannerisms and speech patterns which may come off as blunt, toxic, etc. But yeah, it's very weird since Mafuyu is a character we're supposed to root for yet she's making the other members uncomfortable sometimes

@@nurunuru_stuffandartwell, mafuyu is very representative of how an heavily depressed person would behave (and that’s why i related to her sm when i was in a similar mental state). she’s largely jaded and apathetic to others because she’s miserable, sees no point in her life and wants to disappear; someone who’s suffering from such a heavy depression would behave like she does it sucks, obviously, and it’s not an excuse for her behavior, but if she was any different i think it wouldn’t be as realistic

I guess she's supposed to be portrayed as a very mixed character - she's personally one of my favourites mainly because I like the way she's written, but out of my four she's the one that drops out and returns the most because sometimes she says something really annoying that just gets me. For example, I've had some irl friends tell me about how Ena's too harsh on Mafuyu and how Mafuyu being mean to her is because she's depressed and that Ena can't be excused, which I don't agree with at all because Mafuyu herself has said that she likes the way Ena is very outright and honest. And all the 25ji members are depressed to an extent so excusing characters isn't going to do so much. I remember watching the Secret Distance event and also finding it a bit weird that Mafuyu (in the first half) was only really talking to Kanade to see if she was getting any inspiration. And in the main story, it's because of her blatant reveal that Kanade's music isn't helping that Kanade started losing hope and felt so guilty about it. Despite that, I've liked some of her more recent events and you can tell that she's becoming a better person now (Shizuku's also one of my favourites so I loved the event with both of them and KAITO getting Mafuyu to stand up to her mum was amazing). Then again, it does irritate me when anyone automatically thinks that Mafuyu is the only one with depression in the game and dismiss the other three because hers was focused on the most in the main story, and people kin her only because she's depressed and don't take into account the other parts of her character which are slowly starting to show. This was not supposed to turn into an essay, and it has no conclusion because I'm too tired to write one, but if you're here I hope you have a wonderful day and you all live nice lives :) ❤ ❤ ❤ P.S. I wasn't earlier saying that all Mafuyu kinnies only kin her because they're depressed, but I feel like my phrasing was a bit weird and I was only trying to say that the fandom's view on her irritates me.

I know not many people LOVE Haruka, but for me she’s one of my favourite characters, I love her design, personality, voice and most importantly her story was one of my favourites as I love stuff about idols especially if it’s a bit depressing, also I loved this video

As a mafuyu #1 fan i'm here to write an essay. Mafuyu is depressed bc of her mom who is gaslighting, manipulate, mentally abuse her. That makes mafuyu don't know what to do or what to act. And she is NOT toxic, i know that this vod is 1 year ago, but if you read about her stories she is care about n25 and other her friends, shes once told kanade and ena to take a rest. As for the secret distance event, she is not being mean or what bc she said "i'm not interested in anything." Well she is litterally emotionles that what makes her not interested on anything, and for the phrase she said to kanade "but kanade you must find an inspiration to compose a song right?" That is not mean or anything bc mafuyu is right, kanade told mizuki shes want to go to find inspiration, i feel like mafuyu is like "i don't want to go, but you all need inspiration right? Maybe me too." Actually idk how to explain it but i think you guys are read it on wrong tone, bc if you read something you read with it a tone right?. As for the phrase she said to kanade like "are sure this song can saved anyone?" What shes mean is "why do you think this song can saved anyone?" Like ena said, Mafuyu is sometimes used a hard sentence that hard to understand, thats why you need to understand. Again, i know this vod is made 1 year ago, but i wanted to say that on 1 area convo, mafuyu forgot to eat to help kanade compose(not really, mafuyu write the lyrics meanwhile kanade compose it, but ig its still mean helping kanade to compose[?]). There is still more i wanted to talk about but its gonna be to long bc y'all gonna be "a'int reading allat" i suggest just to read the story.

I was about to write how it's clear you don't know anything about Mafuyu but when I think about it YEAH YOU'RE KINDA RIGHT.
