Beidou will always be S tier for me. For the longest time I got shafted with rolls at the start and she was my strongest, carried me through pretty much everything. Very fun watch 🤭

Beidou burst is nutty. I used to use just Yanfei/Beidou basically with the 4 different element resonance and without decent artifacts. I’d just press Beidou burst and spam click with Yanfei and kill stuff without even knowing how Yanfei’s charged attack works until like a week before I threw the team away 😂 I should bring them back someday and invest more time into them now that I know (kinda) what I’m doing

I also like them because they change how you play the game. Like Gorou as a unit changes how you look at geo where it opened up the potential for a geo supremacy team. I don't blame people for not building him, but I think he's slept on in the sense of what he brings to the game

also why is yun jin in a tier if all the other niches are in c... she's a niche too + i totally agree and think in tier lists (which are dumb and don't show the full picture anyways), they should be considered in a team where they are fully utilized. it's like kuki; if she's in s tier because she's a good hyperbloom trigger (best team), why shouldnt gorou, faurzan, and the rest be?

@@food8995 Exactly. People focus too much on the fact that characters are niche, instead of how impactful they are in those teams. Gorou's Impact on a team with Albedo and Itto is invaluable. I feel like it's okay to mark someone down for lacking utility but it doesn't override their value completely

not really while they're neiche they might not do what they're meant to do as good as people think if you take gorou for example he's really good because no one can buff geo chars like him and his buff is relevant to mono geo and more esp to def scaling characters while sara doesnt because while they're similar saras buff only lasts for 6s (without mentionning the poor energy regen for an 80 energy cost) and that is not enough for the one characters she can support (raiden) you can force her to buff some other characters like keqing but its not gonna work like wonders thats why most people would rather play fischl in raiden hypercarry because sara is not as good and also fischl takes advantage of benny and kazu and even raiden buffs same things can be said about pre c6 mika compared to bennett and many other characters

If you put Ningguang on memory of dust, 2pc geo and 2pc atk, she can be a very solid dps. If you have a good Bolide set, you can put that on her.

Her skill refreshes when the wall is destroyed but she has something like ICD on energy generation for like 6 secs. Meaning if you double cast her E, you won't get energy on the second.

Ningguang hits like a truck, I use her with the Widsith and Noblesse Oblige and she still hits for 20k+ with a single charged attack (not counting the star jades) and like 80k with her ult.

​@@yash5392 she's a 4 star -- did you think you'd get 5 star output without the investment? the fact that her kit allows her the potential to be so powerful is what's astounding for a 4 star. i've seen ning mains clear bosses in seconds while soloing ning using widsith, and the best part about her character ascension and levels is that the materials are incredibly easy to get. i'm f2p and the only reason it took me a month to ascend her to level 80 was AR restrictions. farming for noblesse and archaic is a non-issue considering you have to farm for every character anyway.

As a Kaeya main, I am VERY happy with his placement. He can heal himself, and he has cryonado. I think he shines in Freeze Teams, purely because of his C1 and 4 piece BS. This man literally needs the bare minimum crit rate against frozen opponents (not even counting the CRYO RESONANCE) and I love that for him, and he works as a Cryo Battery with his 4th Ascension, but it only really works if you're using him as an on field DPS because his self-healing and battery works off his skill. He works well with Chongyun because he's cryo damage focused, even though I... uh... may have replaced him with Mika... favoritism gets you places apparently. Anyway, his healing scales off Attack, and don't bother trying to proc his shield, it will shatter in one hit and doesn't activate to save you from a killing blow, so it's hard to get in the first place. It's good for Lore, and that's about it lol. Note about melt teams, replace him with Rosaria. Rosaria and Xiangling work super well together, and Kaeya really shines as a Main DPS because of his skill. He can definitely work in Melt, Reverse Melt, and even Superconduct, but Freeze is his best comp. He doesn't shine when you're only using his burst, no matter what his C2 and C6 may tell you. Both his ascension passives work off his Skill, which isn't something you'll use often when using him as a Sub DPS, so you're essentially nerfing him. Not only that, even though Melt teams have higher damage potential, Freeze is far more consistent because his ICD essentially takes 2/3 of his damage off the table in Reverse Melt teams, and he's literally only a cryo applicator in Melt teams. He's viable as a Sub DPS in those teams, but if you want to take full advantage of him, make him a Main DPS in a Freeze comp. You will thank me later. Build tips: 4 pc BS, Atk Sands, Cryo Goblet, Crit Damage Circlet (remember BS passive and his C1, if you have it, make CR a pretty bad investment), Both Kokomi and Barbara work, I don't have Xingqiu but I don't see why he WOULDN'T work, Chongyun is perfect for him but my dumbass uses Mika, just get the Cryo Resonance (which increases CR even FURTHER), and probably an anemo like Kazuha or Venti to swirl. Sucrose takes up more field time, but she's viable. I can't make Heizou work, but I'm sure someone can, and bada bing bada boom, there you go! Weapons wise, Cool Steel is a trap, it's definitely great, but Harbinger of Dawn is just BETTER when you have Kokomi/Barbara or Zhongli. As for 4 Stars, Blackcliff Longsword is the best by a longshot, but the Flute and Black Sword are good in a pinch, do NOT use the Alley Flash, EM is a wasted stat on Freeze Teams. 5 star wise, Mistsplitter is the absolute best, mainly because the Primordial Jade Cutter will overcap your crit rate. The Aquila Favonia is good if you aren't using Chongyun (like me), but Mistsplitter is by far the best. So the recommended team comp (do as i say not as i do) would probably be Kaeya (Main DPS), Chongyun (his skill is awesome), Kokomi/Barbara/Xingqiu (healer/hydro for freeze), and Kazuha/Venti/Sucrose/Jean (depending on your swirl needs: Kazuha's plunge breaks freeze, and Venti may or may not carry the enemies out of range if you misaim, Sucrose takes away Kaeya time but has neither of those problems, Jean can abuse fall damage and we love that for her, also she's a healer if you didn't use Kokomi or Barbara) Of course, that's the recommended team. I use Mika instead of Chongyun, so really the only things you need are Kaeya, Cryo, Hydro, Hydro/Anemo, and one of them should probably be a healer. I agree with all of this, as a Kaeya main myself I plan to use 4-pc BS om him but I haven't farm good artifacts so I'm currently using 2-pc BS and 2-pc WT on him which actually works well with Kazuha who I'm currently building. My freeze team consists of Kaeya (Main DPS), Xingqiu (Hydro Applicator and kinda a healer), Kazuha (Enemy grouping and a buffer) and Qiqi (Main healer and for the cryo resonance). I also changed up the team comps whenever I want to, I would either change Xingqiu to Xiangling or Bennett or Bennett and Xiangling to replace Kazuha and Xingqiu (for melt) or Keqing with either Xiangling or Bennett for Superconduct and Overload and I'm having so much fun. I currently use Skyward Blade on Kaeya and his talents are triple 8. I'm currently having so much fun playing both the overworld and abyss. If I may ask for an advice, what would be Mika's role if I include him on my team with Kaeya? Would he be a healer? I recently got him and I want to use him with Kaeya as he's a cryo unit as well.

@@brymori Mika is a healer, yes! Use him instead of Qiqi, and the attack speed buff should make for more damage (especially if you're using prototype rancour or aquila on kaeya). The highest damaging team I've made was Kaeya, Xingqiu, Chongyun, Kazuha, but that team doesn't have a dedicated healer lol, so it can be hard to use, especially against bosses that don't freeze (against bosses replacing xingqiu with shenhe might work, but i don't have shenhe) I wish you luck! Mika can be a little hard to make work outside of dedicated physical teams, but i'm glad there's another mika enjoyer lol

Heizou is a secret five-star if you don't have Kazuha. and just like Xiangling, he's really easy to build and get constellations to really make him a powerhouse I have seen videos of people building him into a monster.😮

@@amari7782 Ummm, yes they have. Even Hydro infusion would be considered good but Hoyo for some reason decided to give us Kokomi and Ayato, making it less needed. Put Pyro infusion is great! It allows you to play teams like Thundering Furry Razor. Cryo infusion helps you with on field Cryo units in freeze and fridge teams, EVEN IN NATIONAL ACTUALLY! Electro infusion WOULD be great if they decide to finally gives us one. Better Hyperbloom and personal damage for Kuki to give you an example

The only change I would do here is I would put Thoma in A tier. Because now there is an reason to level him to 90 because his burgeon team is great, if you ever need a reliable shielder, Thoma's shield will service you splendidly. ACTUALLY! Razor should also go to A tier. Especially now that Dendro is out. His HyperBurgeonBurningOverVape team is really good. Faruzan, Sara and Gorou should also be moved into one tier up because they are amazing buffers. BUT THOMA IS THE BIGGEST VICTIM OF THIS TEAR LIST!!! KEEP THAT IN MIND!!!

It is very much worthy of a tier increase because he can perform as well as some other teams. And besides that you can still use him in Hyperbloom. If you don't have Raiden or Kuki he's like your best option out of all the 4 stars

I ran a burgeon team with Thoma. He's a solid unit for me. Especially at C6. I now have him in a melt/freeze team with Xingqui (did I spell that right?) and Ayaka. Being able to keep pyro damage on field while he's off field genuinely is nice for me.

Beidou is my everything - my hyperbloom activator, my sub dps, my tank, my support (preventing interruption and giving me shields) and in the beginning when I had nothing she was my main dmg - dang the woman is my friggin queen. A S tier for beginners through and through.

Your personal experience isn't a new player experience. Beidou doesn't trigger Dendro cores unless it's her counter(or C4 but that's not new player). She's good I'll give you that but just bc she was good to you doesn't mean she's good to everyone

Layla is AMAZING bro. I don't have Zhongli, but I main Yoimiya so Layla saved me. Her off-field cryo application is CRAZY, and her burst charges up incredibly fast. She has the second best shield in the game, and it has 100% uptime. Great character in general.

yeah i was also really surprised and usually im just shitting on most tierlists. only thing, that i did not agree with is kuki in s and sayu in c. kukis kit isnt really that great because her electro application is just not on par with the likes of other electro characters like fischl and kequing and her main value, that she can hit seeds, is sometimes not even wanted, like t.e. when u play sucrose. i think, a tier would be more realistic. and sayu deserves the b tier simply because she is an anemo healer, that can carry vv.

@@ladderlappen4585 nah, a lot of people say fischl is better at electro application but in my experience, Fischl (well, Oz) is VERY slow and completely falls through when dealing with multiple enemies. Shinobu effects multiple enemies at a higher frequency, while healing at the same time. You don't have to worry about the Electro auto-targeting the wrong enemy because it will touch everything around you anyway.

As Kaeya main, I have to say he is very versatile. He has quick recharge, strong normal attack, and brust works while switching character, can heal himself, can be build cyro or physical. With cons he gains a shield. I just love him ❄️

Xinyan hate nowadays is pretty unwarranted but honestly she's just a unit that can be built three different ways and they're all pretty good it's just that you can't combine her Phys, her shielding and her Pyro builds into one or else you'll get the worst out of everything. She has weapons, she has sets people just don't give her a chance and it shows.

In my heart Beidou will always be S-tier; she and Xingqiu pretty much carried me through the early game since they were the only good rolls I got at before I could finish Liyue. That parry mechanic is borderline addictive.

thoma is the best pyro character for burgeon. i know not a lot of people play burgeon but nobody does it like thoma. layla's shield is the second best after zhongli's. i was pleasantly surprised. ningguang is really good, she carried me through the abysses with the wolflord (and she is only lvl 70)

Dori IS good, she is both a healer AND a battery Even better in co-op People compare her to Kuki, but she's NOT a reaction character, she's a BATTERY Of course, if you have Raiden it doesn't mean much, or even electro mc - but: 1) why would you even use electro mc instead of dendro? 2) she HEALS, so you have one more slot on your team cause she fills both battery and heal I use her with Cyno, for example, and it feels good Yeah, she is not meta or something - but she IS NOT worse than Amber or Candace, that's for sure

As a Kaeya main, him being an A tier is such a win. A lot of people sleep on Kaeya just because he's a 4-star and a starter character who everyone had coz he's free but he's very fun to play and deals lots of damage, whether on boss fight, one-on-one or with group of enemies. He can be built however you want with any team comps and different elemental reactions as Cryo have varying reactions with different element, maybe except for Dendro. He heals himself, he teleports behind enemies which actually helps me a lot im dodging and his passive helps exploring much easier and I really love his cooking bonus, which unlike other characters, is actually fire. He's pretty, handsome, have a good voice (especially the Chinese one) and the original ice bridge man. And of course, his beautiful lore (and other additional information we'll hopefully get in the future). His hangoout event is fun too, istg. Obviously I just love Kaeya, my most invested character out of all in the game and all the characters I have upgraded and leveled up is just for supporting him. Also I just love how you rate these characters, you're being honest if you've ever used them or not and giving advices for those who might want to play who you had played and/or currently using. Im gonna be the guy to say: Dori is not that bad imo. If we talk about electro aplication then yeah, she is not good for that. But she can be a good support for a dps that needs to be on field, specially if you dont have good shields. She would heal u up while getting hit and fill your burst while also applying electro in a weird way. Definitely not the best, but i would consider above D for sure

Bro, people really misunderstood the Sara's kit, she buffs attack just like Benny. Yeah her C6 just favors electro but that doesn't mean she don't buff atk of others. She could easily be B tier.

As a xinyan main and a genshin player from 1.0 i can admit her kit isn't flexible but if you build her physical she can be really fun. My supports are fischl, Mona and Venti who boost her damage

I have a C6 Yaoyao and I agree with A tier. She has been a staple for keeping my Xiao alive but also applies good dendro blooms with my Mona so Benny can blow everything up. So I like her. I also like Noelle in A too. Her shields are strong, good damage when built right, and the healing is a plus. Also, both characters in game lore and personalities are just fun imo.

I have discovered that Yaoyao, Xinqiu, Beidou, and Xiao is hilarious and surprisingly survivable for farming Xiao's BiS artifact set. (I haaaaaate that lvl90 Ruin Grader, ugh.)

When I heard Candace can Hydro Infuse, I immediately knew I would have fun with that at some point, so I decided to prep myself for that moment, so now I have a Lv90 9/9/9 C3 Candace. And although it’s been a while since I’ve played her, I do remember having a lot of fun with her. There are simply just a lot of fun ideas to play with her, (also, it’s fun to see Albedo’s Hydro infused attack). She does have a fun little mining mechanic, her 2nd Normal Attack (where she uses her shield to bash enemies) can break minerals up. As well as her Skill, Tap or Hold, where once again, she is using her Shield to Bash enemies in. Such a fun mineral farmer. :D

I agree with everything except yaoyao. At C0 she is an INSANE dendro applicator with healing and while yes she has to be on field to heal everyone, that healing is godly and also applies insane dendro, so with with a good off field hydro applicator or electro she becomes super strong offensively WHILE healing. And remember, this is all at C0. This makes her S-Tier every time.

I use Thoma with Xingqiu and Alhaitham and honestly he does better than Xiangling in this specific team. He pops the dendro cores easily and this team has been destroying the abyss. Thoma is one of my favourite characters and i'm really happy to finally be able to use him efficiently in a team

Yanfei is still one of my favorites. I have other pyro characters that can outclass her damage, like Yoimiya and Hu Tao, but I keep coming back to Yanfei because she's just so satisfying to play. Plus she has zero down time and unlimited pyro application, unlike her 5 star counterparts. Pair her up with Fischl (especially C6 Fischl) and watch the battlefield disappear under wave after wave of explosions. Yes, her damage ceiling is lower than the 5 stars, but she is much more consistent than her big sisters, which makes her much more comfortable to play. And as a nice bonus, one of her best weapons is Lost Prayer, which gives a movement speed boost. So she's usually the one I'm running around as in the overworld.

As someone who has Barbara Bennett and Beidou (with dendro traveler lol) in my team I'm happy to see they're considered good bc even if I get a 5 star I couldn't change my main team I love them too much T.T Edit: new main team is Barbara Bennett Nahida and traveler but traveler can easily be swapped out for Xiangling or sucrose or Fyshl depending on the circumstance

I have a team with noelle, xiao, xingqiu, and yanfei and when i saw this i got so happy seeing all my four stars being placed in high ranks :D all of them actually work great for me in my opinion too!! (Xingqiu and yanfei for vape, noelle helping xiao to not deal more damage since his burst does damage to him, etc) anyways, this tier list was great! Hope to see more awesome videos in the future

I have an Eula. I have an Ayaka. I have a Yoimiya. I have a Ganyu. Yet, Yanfei is my most consistently good DPS, when paired with Kuki. I don't know what I do wrong building my 5-stars, but Yanfei-Kuki, with Yanfei's decent kit and high EM on Kuki (when she's only LvL 80) just shreds. That, paired up with Kuki's healing and my C6 Yanfei's shield on burst, just makes them the most convenient and consistent team for me. And some may think "BUT OVERLOAD EXPLOSION MAKES ENEMIES GO AWAYYY", but Yanfei doesn't give a sh*t cuz the explosion can hardly send the enemies further than she can track. You will still need to move, if you want Kuki's electro application to reach, but especially on C6 Kuki, you really don't need to move THAT much, and you can still put some attacks inbetween your sprints.

I got c5 Yaoyao while trying to get Alhaitham and I'm so glad I have her. I don't have Nahida so she is a life saver (literally). And I don't think she needs to deal dmg to heal, I just run in circle and she throws radish everywhere lol

as a noelle simp and "main" (she hasnt left my party since beginner banner) I fully agree with a tier. she has very powerful shields and heals, and is a good geo dps if that's something you're after, so she basically fills the role of at least 2 characters. given everything she does she's a very powerful character but personally I don't think she qualifies for full s tier. still it made my face light up when you said a+ :p

I mained Ningguang early on. Gotta say if you have hydro units that need to fight the Oceanid, she can handle your bird problems. Her screen immediately disappears, but it makes crystals (as do her rocks). She'll keep your team shielded the entire time (something even Noelle can't do) plus her rocks will hit the birds. Very niche, but if you haven't built an archer, she can help. And I love her. Animation cancel FTW.

Dori is good with Sac Claymore in quick swap Hyperbloom because her E has a small AoE, and at certain cons there is an off field turret effect similar to her E every time her Q procs heals. You have to think out of the box using her because her mechanics are so different. Build her with a lot of EM and ER. Her healing is just to compensate for eventual bloom damage. Yelan, Dori, Nahida/DMC and Sucrose or a Cryo like Kaeya is a nice team, because you can generate cores, then Dori Q, then Yelan E to run around the genie to pop the cores and apply more hydro. Sayu can also do the run around wih her E to save stamina, preferably infused with Hydro.

I use YaoYao with my Raiden and Yelan, so I use Yelan's alt and Raiden's E skill, so I would get both hydro and electro application when using YaoYao's alt - so it would actually defeat a lot of the enemies with hyperbloom and would pretty much heal my entire team at the same time

I just got Itto's weapon lvl 70 for my almost fully built Noelle (lvl 8 normal attacks, missing geodmg goblet), and now she outputs >10K per hit on ult, heals, and shields. Compared to Itto, she sacrifices raw dmg for doing littlerally everything else, truly living up to her best maid title.

I was surprised to see that I agreed with you almost fully. The only exception was Collei, I think she deserved to be in B, not C, but that's my personal opinion, except for that, I agreed with you regarding all the other characters. I mean, yeah, we have better characters than Collei, who do what she does, but better, but it's a tier list on how good they are, not how good they are compared to others like dmc, who is a 5* not a 4* anyway. The fact that we can't really compare Collei with other dendro characters is because except for her, Yaoyao is the only other 4* dendro character, everyone else is a 5*, and dendro as a whole is fairly new, so there isn't that much to compare anyway.

8:22 sayu heals, does good damage when build right, swirls, and is great for movement. i stacked 2700 atk on sayu and with her burst she heals a minimum of 15k hp and with some supports can easily hit 65k damage. she also swirls really well especially on burgeon teams. i still use her more than my kazuha who is built. sayu is the most underrated a emo unit and people just need to give her a chance.

Noelle I would nudge into being S tier, just for context. She is a free character that can fill any role except ranged attacks. You get her free at the beginning of the game, she appears in the Paimon store, but unlike Lisa, Amber, and Kaeyas he also appears on banners, so much more convenient to get to C6. Additionally she scales off Defense, so its easier to build her artifacts because most players have defense artifacts laying around. Plus Husk domain also has Clam set, so win win. She will carry you all the way through Inazuma if you need her to.

Yaoyao's burst only takes a couple seconds and heals your whole team SUPER fast. Her E skill heals the on-field character and the heal ticks are really quick, which makes a huge difference. You can have a beefy healer, but if it's only ticking like every 3 seconds you might be dead already. If you're good at dodging, her E heals for on-field character are completely sufficient. Plus since she's polearm she can use black tassel HP substat weapon, sword and bow healers the scale on HP don't have really accessible options like that. Having passive E heals that don't rely on hitting enemies or on using burst or on using burst + hitting enemies is very valuable IMO. Her dendro application is :mwah: and she can fill a healer + dendro resonance slot in one.

If Shinobu is S-tier, Yaoyao is the dendro Shinobu and deserves S-tier. The full-team heals with her burst are a very worthwhile alternative to damage with burst since it's such a powerful and quick team-wide heal.

Every character can be really good when you build them properly, but this also depends on whether you enjoy the playstyle or not. I use my Bennett with Neuvillette, Kazuha, and Qiqi and I really enjoy the team honestly.

My Collei has 82 crit and 114 crit damage at level 64 and like 1,000ish attack. My sub stats rolls are shit though it never goes to my crit damage. I have the bow that you get from the battle pass it level 90 and R1. I never used her until the Windblume event where I fell in love with her character so I decided to build her with the best artifacts I have.

Yaoyao burst is my Xingqui emergency healer for my Alhaitham hyperbloom team. Since I always use him at the start of the rotation my Yaoyao and Kuki healing always ran out before I switch it back to him. So, here comes Yaoyao burst, she didn't need to be on a field to heal or use her kit.
