I love when single player games put optional cheats into them. on PC it's not a big deal as there are plenty of free cheats but on console when you've finished a game it's fun to have some stuff to mess around with

​@@yoriichitsugikuni7964 In pause menu, go to settings option (at the bottom of the pause menu), after you are in the general settings like camera, sound and all that stuff just press the button "Y", after you do that you will be in a menu with a lot of tabs that say "unknown", there is where you activate cheats. To write them, press again "Y", and just search for them in Internet. After you type them, a screen will pop up saying "you unlocked a cheat" or something like that. And if it worked correctly it a tab should be unlocked with the info about the cheat. And thats it. (If you activate a cheat, you will not be able to save game. And make sure you put the cheat without any grammar or space error. And thats it) (sorry for my bad english, it is not my main language)

@JoobyMcGee there's actually an exploit you can do to enter cheats and save. After the mission where the kids in Saint Denis Rob Arthur you have to the talk to Dutch and you Dutch and John go to brontes mansion to get jack back, BEFORE you talk to Dutch, drop a save, then enter all the cheats you want, then do the mission for Bronte. After the mission you'll see an auto saved titled "Angelo Bronte a man of honor" load that, then when you load back in, go to sleep and when you wake up, you can save.

It saves most cheats. The cheats that increase your stats, give you money, clear the cloud on the map menu, the one that gives you all guns and clothes etc are saved, but other cheats like infinite ammo isn't saved.​@@blaketaylor9099

​@@blaketaylor9099actually, the only cheats that come to my mind that WON'T be saved after doing the glitch are the infinite ammo cheat and the ones with vehicle and hoses (unless you save your horse in the stable after spawning it).

A fun thing to do when your Arthur gets bored, activate unlimited dead eye & unlimited ammo, (that's all ammo including exploding bullets & dynamite arrows etc.) then go into Blackwater, great plains & tall tree's and see how long you can last against the pinkertons. The unlimited money sounds good, but you can't save the game once you activate any of the cheats.

you actually can if i remember correctly using the "angelo bronte, a man of honour" mission. the game has a forced autosave at the end of the mission, I last used it over a year ago so it mightn't work though.

The thing is that you have to save your game before doing a cheat free roam because once you active one you can no longer save the game and once you are finished you have to reload the save or quit the game to be able to save your game again

With the exception of a glitch in story mode, you cannot actually save your game after implementing these cheats. Which sucks so you essentially have to save your game beforehand then turn on the cheats play around with them and then reload your previous game.

A magazine is either an internal or detachable piece meant for holding bullets in a rifle or pistol. Your revolvers hold bullets in the cylinder.

Well sadly once you use cheats it wont save so if you activate a cheat and finish the game and restart it itll spawn you back to where u were before u actived the cheat but its kinda cool to get different endings with high honor and low
