FH2 is still the game I enjoyed the most. 3 had a beautiful map, but wasn't very fun to drive on. 4 introduced seasons which didn't make a huge difference to the gameplay besides try to make up for the lack of visual variety to the map. Once the convoy issues are fixed in 5 it has a chance to become my favorite in the series.

It is very hard to find somebody that actually agrees with me in FH4, because everyone hates it. In my opinion the only con with FH5 is that there's barley any grass. I know that it's set in Mexico, but maybe add a green area that's not a jungle or a forest?

Forza Horizon 2 and 3 had amazingly pretty map, but handling in FH5 feels so good, it pains a little when you go back to older games. I have mixed feelings about map in Forza Horizon 5. Map is big, but it still feels cramped, because for some reason devs decided to force landscapes from entire Mexico into map way too small for that, instead of picking one nice spot of country to recreate, like in previous games.

I think Horizon 1 is by far the best. Career mode there were actual bosses which made it so much more motivating to play, along with having to earn your cars rather than them being handed to you straight away. The multiplayer system was also by far the best. Only Horizon game with Motorsport type hoppers and why this system never made a return is beyond me. On top of that it easily has the best soundtrack, best atmosphere (crowds at event sign ups) and best car class system (R1 >>> S2). Horizon 4 and 5 for me are by far the two weakest games. 4 was too far backwards. Rubbish car classes, no motivation in career mode, plus it felt like it was made for 5 year old kids.

Facts. I tried FH5 and literally gave me top tier cars and tons of money within an hour. That’s cool but now there’s no reason to play. No challenge and no starting from the slower cars and going up to the super cars.

As far as evolution goes, FH 4 & 5 might be the best ones but as far as immersion, structure and progression goes, 1 is the best then 2&3.

My Favorite is 3 as it has the best map as well as the best music. I loved driving around the city at night and seeing the stars and fireworks. Horizon 4 is good but it took a while to grow on me. I only really started liking it only after 6 months of playing. I like FH5 but I hate the over the top, overly optimistic, cringey writing. There’s no stakes, no pressure, nothing to prove. FH1 is amazing and really good even to this day. It’s a classic. I really like FH2, but it’s probably my least favorite of all of them because of the location.

For me, FH4 was a terrible game. The constant struggle to be able to connect with friends due to the game kicking everyone out of events, the car sounds being way off what they actually are, and just the overall feel of the game just was sour to me. i would have to say FH3 was better. I put a total of 23 Days, 19 Hours, and 32 minutes into FH4 which was only because it was the most recent title. In FH5 i already have 6 days played (kept my game on overnight due to the AFK methods, so realistically i would say about 3 days) and am actually enjoying the game. aside from the bugs that are annoying, like for example, when your in the world with your friend and want to show them your car or just go on a cruise the game just erases your friend from view and then puts them back in randomly. But other than that i find the game to be just a better overall experience. But the game hasent been out for that long so we shall see how long that lasts.

I personally never liked the Horizon 3 Map and even less the races you could pick. There were way to many offroad and to few street races Dont even get me started on the engine sounds or driving physics. In this aspect i think Horizon 2 exceeds both Horizon 3 and 4.

Horizon 3's map was heavily overated i understand that we saw sky scrapers in the few and different biomes, however its not hard to notice that they focus alot of buildings and stuff into one area and then the rest of the map is just bland with nothing there and maybe an interesting place scattered around. The game was very fun to me though as it was basically the game i had racked up the most hours on my xbox on at around like 3K hours on that i think... Whereas with the map on horizon 4 there was more stuff around that suited the landscape of Scotland and actually made the map seem more Dense whilst being bigger.

I just bought 4 and 5 yesterday both are premium edition. and I was little regretted that there are also negative feedback of Forza Horizon. I wanna know if 4 and 5 were good decision, but everyone's opinions in comments are various. at least this video gave the highest tier for 4 and 5, so I feel less regret of buying the games. I havent even installed yet, but I afraid if will like it. I wanna experience realistic drive in beautiful sights. FH has beautiful sights but unrealistic behavior of driving might turn me off.

WARNING: The following Text is just my Perspective! Imo, after Horizon 3 the Games just went completely into the wrong Direction. It had already announced itself with the third Horizon, over FH2 and 3, the Festival Focus got less and less... And then in Horizon 4 (and still in 5), it was completely gone. Too much freedom, a boring Campaign, no Festival Feel and no feel of Progression at all. EVERYTHING that made the 1st Horizon so good was gone entirely with the last Entries! Personally, idc about a bigger Map or a big Car List if the Game itself has nothing special to offer.

I agree with you 100%. The problem with racing game fans these days is if the game doesn’t have 800+ cars or the biggest map in the world, people will be disappointed by it. Didn’t people use to complain about the Gran Turismo games having so many cars that you didn’t care to drive in? To make an open world racing game perfect just add around 100-150 popular cars and add a decent size map like the midnight club games or early need for speed games like Underground 2 and Most Wanted ‘05 or have the map be around the size of Forza Horizon 1 and it could be great.

Horizon 4 was a weird title it was hated but loved at the same time i won't lie being brought up in the uk makes me rather fond of the map but once you have a well specced PC you have to admire the graphics beacuse the game is very beautiful, compared to horizon 5 the game is better in a few ways in my opinion. I think the map on horizon 5 is beyond bland its just too big for how little shit there actually is, progression was slightly better too beacuse every title seems to make it easier for you to start with a hyper car and i also prefer how most content added to that game wasn't actually recycled from the previous game infact the car list was turned up a notch from the game before it and horizon 5 just launched with the same car list with a few more new cars.

S: 3 and 5 (there's not even much to say, 3 was a perfected version of 1+2 with if not the best map in franchise history, Best DLCS including hot wheels, if you never got to experience and grind 3 I'm sorry, and 5 was a combination of 3 + 4, easily 3 and 5 for best content, maps, cars, overall game perfection. ) A: 4 and 2 (4 and 2 both added a lot of new features to the series with 2 having the edition of off-roading and an overall cleaner newer experience with more to do and more fun map wise, 4 with a ton of new content also, 4 and 2 were the pioneers of the series adding significantly new changes for the better) B: 1 (Started it all, great classic and beginning, offered a lot for it's time, classic, good game, can be comparable to 2 and still fun for a racing game however doesn't compare to the newer games but for its time it was a legend so easily B rating)

Horizon 1 is the best. I felt like they dumbed everything down since H3. no real progression at all. I tried to play 5 and after every race I open a new event and cars. Got too easy IMO.

Definitely agree, they need more biological customization and less cosmetic. I'd rather have my guy wear regular clothes and look like me than be dripped out and some random latino guy 5. They'd get more hate and probably 'canceled' if they didn't. 6. This annoys me so much like a see yellow and get excited but it's a fucking chicken hat. 7. Again, don't want to be canceled. Most of their past games have been all men so they probably wanted to play it safe, it also makes their audience larger which was a big goal with this game.

fh4 felt really fake, especially with that one guy's (cant even remember his name) painfully bad irish-sounding accent also, there is little sense of reward and races are fairly... repetitive. i think its better than 2 but worse than 3&5 i also think fh1 is the best in the series because it has that certain grit to it. the map had everything you needed. A great drift area, a perfect highway, and also the characters were memorable! ali howard was pretty cool. for the time it came out it is incredible. it is by far my favorite game ever.

fh5 fell off so hard after this lmao. the map might be bigger in fh5 but the majority of it is just desert. the only cool places to drive around are at the festival which is super small now. also ever since it released the load times have just kept on getting longer, it now takes over five minutes to launch the game on my xbox one x.

For me, horizon 2 was easily the best "in its prime" experience. 4 was a massive, and I mean massive let down compared to 3 but for 2 very specific reasons.... #1, the map location.... I drive and look... theres dirt hills to my left.... oh whats that? theres more fuckin dirt hills to the right... ohhhh whats that? a castle I can own? but housing is irrelevant? sweet... another pointless purchase item in the game. Its a dead location with boring roads. #2 the weather.... why.... just why.... why did there have to be fuckin snow.... IM TIRED OF SNOW, I LIVE IN CANADA I GET ENOUGH FUCKIN SNOW IN REAL LIFE. In the end my ratings are in order from best to worst. 2, 3, 1, 5, 4

you are unimaginably incorrect. FH2 and 3 are S, never played 1 so you can judge that how you like but FH4 is absolutely terrible. Its DLCs were not good at all and its just copy and paste with minimal effort.
