The reason the stars are cut off is because it represents Europe lasting forever. And the triangle represent the three grupes of Bosnia: Bosnians, Croats and Serbs. If it was on the side of the flag it wouldn't be able to represent those grupes. Thank you for listening.

The term 'British' just isn't reserved for the English. They are all under the same union and so the Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish are equally as British too. I don't know why everyone thinks the English are the only ones in the UK that can be given that term. If the union broke up and everyone went their separate ways, the term 'British' wouldn't apply to anyone anymore.
