Even though I’m a fairly new player who has only done the Island and Crystal Isle plus I’m currently working on Scorched Earth I agree with most of these, though the Wyverns are a recent addition to my flight capability. So far I haven’t found the perfect flyer. I use Crystal Wyverns for scouting or long distance flights (the Pterosaur used to do that), the Argentavis for metal/stone/Crystal runs and caving (yes I force allowed cave flying), and lightening/fire/poison Wyverns for combat purposes.

How the ember and tropical wyvern got a spot but not the blood astounds me. It’s the best one for survivability

Solid flyer but the bite damage isn’t as good as the others + need to do the breath attack lotsfor regen so not the best if you don’t have unlimited stamina. Still, this is just my opinion and I respect yours too!

Cool video. For me the best (at least initially) is tropical crystal wyvern. Any beach bob above the level of 65 in the SW was able to hop on one with some basic crystals and acquire of of the strongest tames in the game. Lots of health, lots of weight, no saddle required, and can suddenly traverse almost any map with speed.

I honestly was disappointed by griffin, when it comes to dmg and agility Argy wins over anyone. When it comes to travel speed, the best is semi flyer Maewing.

i only playd official pvp agentavis in my eyes was always worse then pteranodon, quetzel was better for farming, griffin was better for picking people in pvp and pteranodonand tapejara where the quick travelers, so there was no rol for the agentavis to fill.
