Imo, there's no boring Yakuza games or even bad ones to me, They're all good in their own ways. I say Kiwami 2 is the most underwhelming, but it isn't the worst one.

i agree, there’s really no bad yakuza games. However, i do believe that certain parts of certain games are just dreadful to play though. For example, saejima’s part in y5, the opening of kiwami, and the orphanage stuff in y3.

True to an extent, but *every* Yakuza game has pretty horrible combat though apart from the turn-based ones. Just mind-numbingly boring button mashers with limited movesets and ridiculously easy difficulty.

Yakuza fandom is so divided on these games bro, Yakuza 4 makes me want to puke just thinking about it then I'll turn around and someone's saying "shit's good yo" and I feel like I'm nuts Then again I think Kiwami 2 is excellent so I can't say much

i preferred 3 over 4 tbh. i did like 4 i just didnt give a flying fuck about the cop protagonist. i liked the other 3 tho. currently on 5 and i think it's my least fave ngl but im still enjoying it

As a series newcomer idk what to expect when i'll have to play Kiwami 2 and also 3 soon, everyone says different things but i also don't search too deep because i don't want too many spoilers.

If you're able to, I highly suggest emulating the original 2 instead of playing Kiwami 2. Imo, 2 is the beat game in the series and K2 is the worst.

My favorites are probably 2, Lost Judgment, and Gaiden. I do like 0 a lot too but the game is too easy and I’d need to use mods or something to make it enjoyable.

I loved Gaiden it’s one of my favorites. I’m playing through Lost Judgement rn and I’m loving it so far. I really like Snake style.
