I rant about Mario Kart for about 4 minutes - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 6

Peachette sucks. Such a dumb addition. Nintendo saw my dlc character predictions and decided to do something funny by putting in a character I believed had no chance of getting in.

I genuinely struggle to understand the level of criticism here. We were initially promised two additional racers, in fact we weren't promised any racers at all for the booster course pass, but Nintendo surprised us giving us new racers and giving 2 bonus racers for wave 6, cant people be happy with anything anymore? I have to admit, I wasn't thrilled about the inclusion either, but the sheer amount of negativity surrounding it is shocking to me. Let's remember, like you said she's a bonus racer. Sure, there might have been better choices for bonus characters, but we did receive Funky Kong, Diddy Kong, and Pauline as well. It's a 'take it or leave it' situation, in my opinion. Since the three main racers that many in the community had eagerly hoped for have finally made their way into Mario Kart. That's the key takeaway here. So, while I respect your viewpoint and share some views about the fourth bonus racer, I strongly disagree with most of your criticisms.

I'd elect to leave it tbh. Even if we did get more than expected, using that extra slot on a clone character is just a dumb decision. I don't like that they did it in 8U with Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach, and Dry Bowser, and I like it even less here

You are seeing things wrong, not every character for being added is good, the problem with peachette is that its just a peach reskin, and reskins are waste of slots that could have been taken by another characters

We were ALL expecting only 2 characters, and we thought that either Funky or Pauline were going to be cut, but we got all 3 and one more that they didn’t need to add! I really don’t mind it, and I’ll be playing all 4 characters daily. 😁 Also yeah, Daisy Circuit is kind of underwhelming considering it’s the final wave.

Whilst Peachette wouldn’t have been my first choice as the possibly final character to end off the DLC, I’ll take it. We got three fan favourites this wave too, and I really don’t think it’s worth complaining about one meh character when every character before her have all been great picks. Would I have liked someone else? Sure, but I ain’t going to lose any sleep over it

Am I really the only one that's genuinely more upset that Nintendo couldn't be bothered to add even 1 single kart part from Tour? I mean come on, we haven't gotten any new kart parts since 2018 and we already have more tracks than karts, bikes, ATVs, tires and gliders combined... sure they didn't promise kart parts, but neither did they promise characters until halfway into the booster course pass.

Peachette is the first character on Mario Kart Tour to exist on the open beta, that's the reason, that's your why

That's a possible reason... but I don't think that's actually why Peachette was chosen. The most likely reason is just that Peachette was easier to implement than someone like Monty Mole, Nabbit, etc would have been

It's less about wanting another Wii Track and more about knowing that there is no way they would have planned to end the entire game on a circuit track. Wii Rainbow Road is definitely going to happen (Personally, I would have chosen 3DS Rosalina's Ice World over Daisy Circuit)

Did you even... watch? I said I'm not too mad about the actual track selection, I just wish it was in an earlier wave. Daisy Circuit is a B- tier track at worst. The thing I'm mad about is that they chose a clone to be the "bonus character" over literally anyone else. They might as well have just added three characters

How about you think before you assume things about someone? Mushroom Bridge was quite literally one of my least wanted tracks, and I've always hated it I'm not too mad about Daisy Circuit being selected, I just wish it was in a different wave, and I wish wave 6 had a winter track. Based on leaks, it most likely won't have a single winter track

@@realdogking There are too many winter tracks on the Booster Course Pass already (Snow Land, Merry Mountain, DK Summit and Vancouver Velocity). How about we get something else for the final wave? Or would you rather have the winter-themed Vanilla Lake over Bowser Castle 3?

Wiggler is more original than peachette lol, its just a useless peach reskin, BUTTT nintendo refuses to add skins to their characters for some reason, instead they add em as whole characters, look at the peach and mario reskins in this game taking slots lol
