I love the way that it took Jason years of service to become a praetor , and all it took Percy is like a week to convince everyone in Camp Jupiter that he is a good shot for praetor. Hera was able to take off every memory from Percy's mind except Annabeth cause she was in his heart.

I just recently watched some of ur videos and u talked about relating to the characters and thats when i realized why i loved the books so much as kid a couple years ago. I actually grew up and still live in Long Island, New York(the location of Camp half-blood) and i didnt have the best home life and i often wanted to runaway. When i found the pjo books and realized where it took place it gave me an oppurtunity to run away, not physically but mentally. i imagined myself going east for a couple miles and then i would be safe and when reading the books i felt as if i was a part of the story, just another demigod who stumbled onto camp. I didnt mean to spill my life story but i just wanted to know u helped me realized what got me through those hard times, and now whenever the going gets tough i pick up one of these books and get lost in it.

I do think that when Percy fights the undead cohort we see the peak of his powers so far. He legit solos them. Summons a hurricane to make himself untouchable then collapses the edge of a glacier, and summons a wave bigger than said glacier.

I also love this book because it’s the introduction to my favorite character in the Riordanverse, Reyna. Can I ask a favor? Please don’t go too hard on blood of Olympus when you get there. It is one of Rick’s weaker books. But the Reyna and Nico chapters are some of my favorite in the Riordanverse. Hate on the chapters with the seven as much as you want. Those are not great. Butt this is the book that made me fall in love with Reyna. It physically hurts me to hate on it despite its flaws Sorry for this random rant. I mean they are only high school and just Piper is all not 💯% sure about her and Jason. How can Annabeth and Percy and for that matter Frank and Hazel know that they are soul mates without having to date other people and experiencing different stuff that doesn’t evolve other demogods. I love Annabeth and Percy and everyone else to bits. But soulmates and forever it is a bit much. My take on Percabeth is that they are best friends and each other’s first love and NOT each other’s last love.
