Congrats RUSS! I passed my ppl checkride two weeks ago! I’ve been in the plane a lot the past couple of weeks! What a rewarding experience! All the hard work pays off. 😊 I’m in a rural area of KY and I have been venturing to the Charlie’s around my area working on radio comms! So much fun!

Thank you so much! Congratulations on getting your PPL! That is so awesome! I am so happy for you, and I’m glad to hear that you are enjoying that licensed experience. Keep line, keep building those hours and confidence. As I know you’ve heard the cliché Syd, getting a license is a license to learn. Be well, and congratulations once again!

Congratulations Russ. I stopped logging at 17,000 in 09 when I lost my right eye and ended my commercial career. You will not go so high unless you fly pipeline as a second career, but your airmanship is pretty well established by now. You had a good instructor. Instrument will fill some further capabilities, but you are getting comfortable with flying. Good landing. The tiny bit of wiggle in the yoke is the spring connect to the rudder, which you are using properly to nail the centerline between your legs. No loss of control on landing with happy feet. Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much, brother Jimmy! 17,000 hours is definitely an impressive amount of flying. Parabéns Russ. Acompanhei todos os seus vídeos. Não foi fácil, mas você venceu.. Olhe tenho 42 anos. Resumindo, meu pai partiu a 2 anos. Voe alto Russ

I wish I could express what I need to in your language, but I’m hoping that Google translate this into Portuguese. You are absolutely worth being in this world. The fact that you feel pain, means that you have a sensitivity, that this world needs. It already has enough people who just care and think about themselves. There are so many narcissistic individuals these days, just thinking about their own pleasure and accomplishments. So I beg you, do not do anything to harm yourself. Fight through the darkness, because there is always light on the backend. Just know that I will be praying for you, and I want to hear from you from time to time. Stay here, God can still use you. God bless you, brother, and hang in there!
