David has been dubbed by many as the best tenor in the world. One of the reasons why so many people have never heard of him is because he has been a Southern Gospel artist for years. Unfortunately this is a music genre that main stream music listeners do not listen to, and they ought too in my humble opinion! It is some of the most uplifting and inspirational music you'll ever hear. He can sing anything. Recommendations..Oh Holy Night, No More Night, Let Freedom Ring with the Gaither Vocal band, The End of the Beginning (which he wrote) and Ave Maria/Lord's Prayer. You check these out, you'll get a sense of who David Phelps is.

So glad you discovered David. You need to check out his version of O Holy Night Live in the Alabama Theater in the year 2000. Greatest performance of O Holy Night you will ever hear

He was 53 when he did this. Awesome performance. He's touring right now. He's done Broadway, Opera primarily Southern Gospel. His latest Bridge Over Troubled Water quite good. He's still got the chops. ❤Thank you for reaching myto him. I've been listening to him over 25 years

David was a music major at Baylor University he can also sing opera he was a part of the Gaither vocal band for many years please check out his cover of oh holy night with Bill and Gloria Gaither that version is the best he's wearing a green sweater and also check out no more night...thank you sweetie have a Blessed day

David is the best male vocalist in the world and has been for the past 25 years. I know...I have seen him 11 times live from the front row, I have met him and his family multiple times and been to his home twice for Barn Bash concerts. He is so humble and gracious but incredibly blessed vocally.

David Phelps, one of the greatest male vocalists of all time. There's no shortage of incredible performances by him on youtube. I look forward to seeing you react to more of him. Some of his greatest ones are O Holy Night, No More Night, The Dream, We Shall Behold Him, Let Freedom Ring (with the Gaither Vocal Band), Nessum Dorma.... tons to pick from. And he keeps putting out more and more. Enjoy the ride!

Whitney considered him her favorite tenor. His O Holy Night is most notable but his more recent songs modernize his covers like I Have Nothing and has composed uniquely thoughtful even poignant themes. He holds concerts at his property and tours around America.

Michael Phelps is the swimmer. Not related to David. No More Night is another great song he sings. The End of the Beginning is one that David wrote himself and arranged it too. He's also sang with a quartet called the Gaither Vocal Band and after 911 they did a concert for the First Responders at Carnegie Hall. Listen to them sing Let Freedom Ring. It's phenomenal! David can sing any genre but he sings Southern Gospel and he sings it like heaven descended to earth. Listen to him sing O Holy Night. Maybe save it for next month. Find the one where he's wearing the green sweater and the stage is set like a giant manager scene. It's the best. You'll discover that ANY song done by David is done superbly! You can't go wrong!
