@@TheBrsl It's a good song, it's catchy and it is so well performanced. A woman singing about being attractive and be wanted my men is not sexist, that's called freedom. Let artists do what they want and go with the political message to the polls. I didn't like Rigoberta's song (so I guess I'm the worst machist man in the world right now) and Tanxugueiras could do it much better, their performance was weak and the song felt a bit repetitive (Figa and Midas are much much better). Still, they all did a great job. Now is time to support Chanel and hope the best for her in ESC.

We didn't chose her... This was the decision of the jury (just 5 people). Tanxugueiras received the máximum score from the audience. Chanel comes from a big record company. That song is composed by people from the US, the choreographer worked with people like JLo, Ariana Grande or Britney Spears, and her dresses are exclusive desgned by Carmen Farala (the winner of Drag Race Spain). Besides, one member of the jury is friend of her. The rest of artists, especially our Tanxus and Rigo, didn't have those resources because their récord companies are little. The jury prioritised economy before quality, regardless of whether the song violated any regulations (its lyrics exceed the maximum number of foreign words allowed and mentions a trademark: Bugatti) A real scandal that even politicians have asked for explanations. Jury voted Tanxugueiras in fifth position, if it had been any higher they would've won, because they won the popular vote by far. Rigoberta was another great option, also backed up by the people (came second) but couldn't get to the first position because, again, the jury voted Chanel so high that it was impossible to change. This angers a lot of us because there are connections,a lot of personal interests playing here, it's against what the public vote wanted, and it feels manufactured. A lot of dissapointed people over here, missed the opportunity to send someone really different and with a really important message (Rigoberta's or Tanxugueiras') and this has nothing to say, it's just a catchy song.

The choreo is impeccable, I've never denied that. The thing is I don't think Eurovision has ever cared about dance moves, they care about melodies, messages and stage visuals. Actually, the public vote went to Tanxugueiras, with Rigoberta Bandini coming in second place and Chanel third. There's a lot of controversy around her win because the Spanish public didn't choose her, a jury of 5 people did. There was a lot of strategic voting by the jury, they put Tanxugueiras in 5th place to make sure no matter how many votes they got they wouldn't be able to win.

I like SloMo and the singer will give us an amazing performance no doubt. But to me the best choice was always Tanxugueiras or at least Rayden. For me personally they will be missed and I really hope to see them on the Eurovision stage next year. Tanzugerias had a support of regional votes and Rigoberta a support of feminists and wokists. Both had support of Spanish media. Chanel came out of nowhere and captured attention. She is the best option for ESC so full support to jury who were not there to follow the taste of average Spanish viewer

Chanel didn't capture any attention. She has received 11% of the votes, compared to the more than 40% and 30% of the other two acts. It was rigged because RTV (the organizers) already had their act to represent Spain (Chanel) so they made fun of people who used their money to vote when their vote wouldn't count at all. They shouldn't have organized this festival.

As a Spanish, I feel cheated with this song, we had two awesome songs claiming multiculturalism in this country and feminism, everyone wanted the song "terra" from tanxugueiras to win, the popular vote and the demographic vote went to that song, everyone wanted that song, but the judges of the public tv decided to give the best punctuation to the song no one wanted With two awesome song that got us hyped for this year's eurovision they managed to piss everyone off I'm not going with Spain this year

Just a suggestion - for Torino they should have the paparazzi on stage right at the start, briefly, to clearly and visually convey the idea that a star is about to enter, and then, after few seconds, the paparazzi withdraw ... It is very likely that they have thought about it already!

We didn't chose her, people wasted their money voting (and for some minutes the voting was blocked and people couldn't vote, so maybe she had even less votes that the other singers) and all the country was divided between terra and ay mama, but because of a jury of 5 (some of them were friends of chanel, and any of them were singers or producers) we have this as the winner... They did it to help her in her career, but people here is beggining to hate her because of what the jury did, and many people won't watch eurovision this year because we already know that we will be the lastest...

The voting system was designed so that basically no popular vote could counter the jury's. Honestly if you're going to do that why even bother with a national selection, just do it internally and stop wasting people and the artists money and time. But well i guess at least they got their promotion so they really didn't leave empty handed. The festival itself was such an upgrade from previous spanish selections, the artists didn't all, for once, feel like they've been all handpicked, so i at least hope that Benidorm fest will be fair in the future. The voting system needs to change for that to happen. But they've improved so much, it's literally the only thing lacking right now

Tanx's song was missing something to me. I felt like it was overrated and overhyped from the beginning. Everyone was talking about it but that doesn't mean it was good. When they finally staged it, I liked it a lot more, but it still felt like something was missing. Plus the 'Lalalala' parts were too repetitive and annoying, as were the 'Mamama' parts in Ay Mama which made it quite cringe. With this song, the repetitive parts, especially 'Mo mo mo' get into your head better and work with the song far better. It actually makes the song more memorable and catchy. Spain really haven't sent something like this and should. If this song doesn't do too well this year (which I don't see), Tanx, Rayden and the Ay Mama singer can enter next year if hopefully they host this kind of contest again (preferably with slightly different rules). At the end of the day, you can't compare this to Fuego, as many songs before that were also similar but also the dancing is much better in my opinion and unique to her. This is a different kind of spice.

On top of that, musically, Fuego and slomo are nothing alike. They're only similar in that they are both uptempo, which....well, a lot of songs are.

In Spain we have a lot of #, related to Chanel and the festival. People in Spain is really angry. Only her fans are supporting her. This situation with the Benidorm fest ist out of control. Differents parties are going to ask the organizers ( public TV) about all related to the festival. Any of the first 3 and for very particular reasons of each one, could be this year in Eurovision. But nobody can deny that Chanel has great reasons to be the Spanish representative. In Spain we always tend to personalize each discussion and make some positions our own until the end.
