Polyphemus: “No bloodshed in here today” as it cuts to the sheep they already killed is such a good choice on the artist’s part. Mircsy also just killed it with the cyclops design. Such a unique take on a monster that usually just gets depicted as a very large dude with one eye. Ody really tried to give the guy wine after coming into his home and killing his friend. Like bro. Can definitely understand Poly’s reaction on that one. Survive: “It’s just one life to take” and showing the baby Ody killed before he blinks and it’s Poly. God! Mircsy really ate with these two animatics. Such good shot composition! Remember Them: And thus, the downfall of hubris. Oh, Ody. You were so close. Though I admit, seeing the payoff for the “my name is Nobody” bit was really great in the moment. Even if I still end up feeling a little bad for Polyphemus. My Goodbye: Teagan Earley (voice of Athena) truly is so talented. That goes for all the cast really but I have to say Teagan is in my top three for this musical. Every time she sings I get super excited. Oh, My Goodbye… I understand where both of them are coming from to some extent. Athena is right, Ody was incredibly reckless with some of his choices made in this saga. HOWEVER! Athena came at this all wrong. The man is grieving the loss of his men and she just comes in like “wow bro, you really messed that up and let your emotions lead.” So of course Ody gets defensive and fires back at her which only drives the wedge deeper. Hubris and poor communication. Truly the downfall of so much. I also just appreciate how Wolfy draws Athena as very owl like, since that’s her animal. See you for the Ocean Saga!

Very good video man! Really like your reactions and insight, something you missed in the song "Remember Them" is that Odysseus put some of the Lotus flower into the wine that he gave to the Cyclops that's why he fell asleep. 😊 Also you missed a couple lines when you paused the video, I would suggest that you go back a couple seconds on the video before you unpause so you don't miss anything in the future 👍 Also the next saga is the Ocean Saga not the Wisdom Saga, be careful about that. I never understood those who are ok with someone MURDERING multiple people because they killed a sheep that was in a cave. Not a home, not on a farm. There was clearly misunderstanding there, and Odysseus tried to diffuse the situation by offering wine. In the Illiad, the wine they traded was from the God of Revelry, Dionysus, so it was a really big deal to trade that away for the life of a single sheep in a flock of dozens if not hundreds of sheep. Being ok with multiple murders over a sheep is WILD to me.

@@MrMirza86The sheep was a gift from his father because the other Cyclopes would bully him for being the youngest. Essentially, the sheep meant more to him than any mere pet. It was more like his best friend.

@@blitz0590 it's an animal commonly used for food. That would be the modern equivalent of someone raising a deer, growing up with it, and then it getting shot by a hunter. The hunter had no idea, but when you tell the hunter about it, he tries to make it right by giving you his brand new Tesla. The Tesla is worth much more than the deer, at least on paper, maybe not to you on a personal level though. But how is the hunter supposed to know that? So to try and say that MURDER is a justified response, when the hunter gave him something precious in return is... Pretty gross if you ask me.

@@MrMirza86 False equivalence. It’s more like a child being raised in an abusive household where the father is never home. The father gives an animal to grow up with as a friend. Then a hunter decides to break into his house and shoots the animal to eat. Odysseus is 100% in the wrong here and Polyphemus has the right to protect himself and his flock. Not to mention he’s a child so he’s not gonna be able to pick up on nuance to begin with. All he knows is his friend is dead. And of course Polyphemus didn’t murder anyone. Murder is a legal term and I didn’t see any court there. He just killed some invaders of his household.

For future reactions, even if it isn't epic, since you're recording your screen, I suggest rewinding back a few seconds. Sometimes you pause at certain moments while they're explaining something but because the sentence is cut in half, by the time you press play again you miss out. 13:06 Like this one, the full line was "He didn't notice I mixed Lotus in his wine." Just something to consider so you have a better viewing experience since you film these in bulk. (Nvm, you addressed it in the next video, but still, the suggestion stands. I think it'll help you process information better anyways.)

@@Fluffyfoodog that song is from back when we had the raid on ismarus and potentially left some people behind with the lotus eaters.odys fleet consists of 12 ships with 50 people each(600 MEN) .only 50 people entered the cave(odys ship) with the rest of the fleet waiting outside. Later in ruthlessness Poseidon and co sink the other 11 ships leaving and he’s left with 43 men. Meaning his ship is missing seven people. I’ve heard Jorge said it was 14 but haven’t seen it myself. Might be 14 but I trust math so therefore 7 lol
