Thank you for the reminder about A Mind Spread Out on the Ground. I bought it when it first came out but it got lost in my massive TBR. If you loved Foster, you definitely need to read Small Things Like These by the same author. It also packs a big emotional punch in a small package.

Yes! I have access to all (or most?) of Claire Keegan's works now and I really can't wait to get to Small Things Like These 😊 So Late In The Day, as well!

ooh what a cracking list ! I really need to try Masters of The Void, havent been following the SPFBO finalists so id never heard of it. I agree with Wickwire Watch, really need to get to book 2. Ahh we echo the same thoughts about Republic of Thieves. II think you are gonna love A River Enchanted, i dont love it as much as Divine Rivals but i think its a better written book and its also just really really great. Ooh power sounds great ! shall need to look it out

This is the first year I've even followed the SPFBO finalists and it is kinda fun to actually know what people are talking about 😂 A River Enchanted definitely intrigues me because it doesn't seem to have as much hype as Divine Rivals like you're saying, but also I'd like to know how she approaches a nominally adult series!

Yay for starting the year off so strong! You're making me want to reread both Winternight and Gentleman Bastards hahah dammit 🤣 And oooh that essay collection sounds super intriguing, I'd never heard of it before! Hope February is treating you just as well 🥰

I'm getting ready to start Age of Madness! I only have Red Country to go before I dive in, but hoping to get to them in the next couple months. 😊

The quality has been consistently great of these later Abercrombie books ☺️

Abercrombie’s Age of Madness is a masterpiece. Looking forward to seeing your review of “The Trouble With Peace” especially. I’m working my way through his YA-ish Shattered Sea trilogy, and really liking that too. I added “Foster” to my TBR. Thanks so much for the recommendation!

The Trouble With Peace was phenomenal!! I can't wait to read Wisdom of Crowds, but at the same time I really don't want the First Law world to be over!

@@GraceDionneReads There’s a novella that’s supposed to be a sort of epilogue maybe to the final trilogy (called “The Great Chance (and Other Lies”).” I haven’t read it yet myself, but looking forward to doing so!
