I really enjoyed her soul to take! I also felt iffy towards the main love interest at first, he was so mean😂 now I can't wait for the second book

Bang Gang by Jade West is my favorite of hers. It’s a second chance and the couple have a kid together. More contemporary feel to it but then add the Jade West steam to it. Wowza!

Nice to be mentioned! :) Reaper's Rise is just a short introduction to Reaper and Boomer. The real story as well as the romance starts with Reaper. And from there all the other books about the different guys from the MC and the women they fall for.

A King So Cold and The Stray Prince is Ella’s first fantasy duet and I thought it was much better than The Savage & The Swan! I highly highly recommend that duet!!
@crystalsbookishlife3 жыл бұрын
Totally agree on your thoughts on Savage and The Swan. A lot of things thrown in that didn't contribute to the overall story or bring it together in any way....sad because the premise sounded so good.

Suzanne Wright's The Dark in You series as well as her Pride/Pack series (Olympus, Phoenix, Mercury) are also awesome books. It's demons and werewolf/cats/etc. Another author I love is R. O'Leary with her Raven Falls Cursed Romances. Furbidden Attraction is my favourite.

Have you read the Monsters in the Dark series by Pepper Winters? How about A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole?

A thousand boy kisses made me weep. I loved it though, so different to the other books I’ve read by Tillie Cole.

Aww man I'm really bummed about the savage and the swan, I've got it but haven't read it yet. I've put all those willow winters books on my TBR list. And I think I'm gonna give her soul to take a go. Feel better soon!

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy Sunshine and the Bullets much. I am very much a series girl though, and you would need to read the other 2 to get questions answered as well as for the full development of the relationships between the characters. If you are not so much into following a couple through multiple books(which is my personal preference) then I would recommend Bec McMasters new Fae series or Suzanne Wright's werewolf series as they are detailed with great world building and character development but follow one couple in one book each.

Idk if you have read The Upside of Falling? Its a ya, not steamy lol but I just fell in love with the characters and the romance! Read it in 24 hrs! It was just a good reminder of why I love romance in the first place! Such a good book! And the maim character purely reads love stories❤
@christinejames63283 жыл бұрын
Oh no, I forgot you just liked the actual romances and not the lead in etc. I actually think the books get better in the Ruthless Kings series. Reaper is a cool character, but there are other romances in the series I prefer. Each book deals with a different situation and there’s various RK chapters now, and the mafia books too. I few have pretty dark themes one in particular has a prologue that is very hard to read (pirate) but the book deals with the after effects of that and is a cute romance.
@raffaelae10203 жыл бұрын
Agree. The novella is just an introduction. I love Pirate and Tongue :)

Started The Savage and The Swan and stopped about half way because it seems so disjointed and I really didn’t like the hero once when we got his POV. I’m the opposite of you, I enjoyed the beginning but was over it by halfway. Glad I’m not the only one who felt this way about the story.

I read the Starcrossed Lovers trilogy by Jade West & truly from the bottom of my heart hated it ... hated it. I don't know what the author was thinking when writing this trilogy especially the third book, however I don't want you to hate Hello Stranger cause I fell head over heels with it. Please don't hate it. It's one of the most emotional 😢 books I've ever read, I literally cried not just tear up NO like crying crying 😢 😭
